I hope you were able to enjoy your weekend. Perhaps there was good weather? Delicious food? Crazy antics? I went shopping for an Easter dress and I found one! That's very exciting to me. Ladies, if you haven't been to a Dress Barn, you should go. It sounds like a terrible place to buy nice clothes, but I've found lovely things at the Dress Barn.
.
I once had the opportunity to drive a Duck (amphibious vehicle). I didn't take it, but I had the opportunity.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
What would you do with two pineapples?
,Love,
The Asker

1. I love fresh pineapple, so I would eat pineapple. Lots of pineapple.
2. Give the other one away(whole) or cut up and put in small containers(1-2 cup) and distribute at work. Say it's Pineapple Day!
3. Call "SpongeBob"
Fruit smoothies
Yogurt, pineapple and granola sprinkles for breakfast
Ham with fresh pineapple slices
Delicious fruit salad with pinepple, strawberries and grapes
I usually just put a bowl of freshly diced pineapple on the table....it is gone before dinner.
OOO..Opportunity....well, I guess any day I want to I could drive a tractor. Did you RIDE in the Duck???
I too love pineapple. I would cut it up into thick slices and put it on the grill! Yummy.
Wow, one wrong key stroke and the posting is gone. Anonymous was me!
Chop one up and add strawberries (pineapples and strawberries are an awesome combo - as are peaches and raspberries).
The other one I'd cut very small and fry up with some ham sandwich meat and make sandwiches from it. Yum!
I'd cut it up into bite-size pieces. Half I'd eat with my hands.
The rest I'd cook up in that Hawaiian Chicken recipe from the Brown family cookbook. (Jeannie, I believe the recipe is yours!)
I like Dress Barn. I got the dress I wore to your uncle's wedding from there. And a duck tour car/boat?? Woa!
As for QotD, I have a bunch of a chicken in the freezer and my boyfriend has a wonderful grill and bottles of marinade, so I would make some Hawaiian Chicken with grilled pineapples. Yum!
I think I want to have lunch with TamiJean sometime!
@Anne
Next time you're in the neighborhood of Madison, you're on!
Great ideas ya'll!
I got one so we could do grilled pineapple with kabobs this week. And since it was BOGO, I got another one just for the heck of it. FREE! If nothing else, we can take it to the fish fry this Friday.
TamiJean,
Next time I head up to Shotgun Eddy's for a day rafting, I'll stop by and we'll do lunch.
Of course, the last itme I went to Shotgun Eddy's, I was about 15! I now have a KID that age!! Holy cow!!
@Anne
*laughs* I don't even know what Shotgun Eddy's is, but you're on!
TamiJean,
Shotgun Eddy's offers white-water rafting rides down the Wolf River. (Pretty sure it is the Wolf River.) What I am positive about is that it was Wisconsin and the name was Shotgun Eddy's. It was aways great fun, until I got leeches that once.
@Anne
LEECHES?!
*scurries up a chair and balances precariously* Eee!
