I apologize to those of you who were expecting to see your QotD? waiting for you bright and early this morning. I forgot about it last night. That's pretty terrible, especially after the prank I pulled. Good news, though. It's Friday!!
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
What is the largest vehicle you've had the opportunity to drive?

My response will be pretty boring - I drive tiny cars by choice. I drove a full-sized truck once and I felt like I was in a monster truck.
My uncle tried to teach me to drive manual in a cornfield in a giant truck used to haul grain. I was relatively successful. The biggest hindrance to my success is my lack of interest!
I will drive nothing larger than an F-150. That size truck is about the outer limit of my comfort zone and my ability to safely drive and park a vehicle.
However, I did once drive Bob's F-350 down a stretch of rural road. As soon as I had to pass another vehicle approaching from the opposite lane of traffic, Bob agreed that it was dangerous to have me behind the wheel.
Personally, I believe that all those women who drive Suburbans are really transvestites. Sorry Kathleen!! I never said that about you!!
I am a driver for the 14-passenger vanpool for work. It's a big 'ole honkin' van.
For reference, watch one of these around 1:20.
I meant to respond to Jeannie's comment about spaghetti squash as a substitute for noodles.
My father makes lasagne with thinly sliced turnips instead of noodles. He says that this lowers the carb content. It is yummy and you cannot notice the turnip taste. The trick is THINLY sliced turnips. I believe, but am not certain, that you do not need to blanch or cook the turnips first, as they will cook in the oven.
Give it a try!!
And Sabrina...
I was taught to drive a manual car driving UP the mountains in Honduras! My biggest hindrance was terror!!
I had to learn to drive in a full size van. It was horrible and bulky. I called it the Bumble Van.
Suburban is the biggest thing.....wait it was our 'ole
blue truck. After driving, parking, etc. 'ole blue, driving a suburban was a 'piece' of cake.
Ann, I tried to think of a clever
'come back', but I have nothing....
I love my suburban and would buy
a new one in a heartbeat!!
I know........I know..........I know.
