waaaaaaaAAAAA MINT

Dear QotD?ers,
.
Yes, I watch Lost. It is complicated and frustrating and interesting. I watched the first 2 seasons of Heroes, which was also complicated, but didn't even get past the first episode of the 3rd season because it tried too hard and completely lost my interest. Another fully complicated series: Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
.
Today I experienced tiredness, boredom, frustration, irate rambling, physical exertion, hunger, satiation and tiredness. That means it's time for bed again.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
Do you prefer the refreshing scent of mint or citrus?
.

Yes, yes I am.

Dear QotD?ers,
.
I got to listen to a lot of music today while I traveled to and from my off-site meeting. I miss having that much music around. If only I could pick up radio stations from my office...
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
Do you (have you) watch(ed) Lost?
or
What is the most complicated tv series you've ever enjoyed?

Do not flash me. I do not have beads.

Dear QotD?ers,
.
Rock-Paper-Scissors-Socks-Icecream
Socks ruin icecream and contains rock. but is packaged by paper and holed by scissors (socks = index & pointer finger down like walking legs)
Ice cream rusts scissors and moistens paper but is melted by rock and ruined by socks (icecream = hold imaginary cone up to your licking tongue).
Not a bad idea.
.
I, too, like Aunt Barbara's idea of the high five. I'd take it to extremes... if both persons complete the high five, forget the decision and go for ice cream! If one person is left hanging, they automatically lose. When there are more than 2 persons, the stakes are raised. The high five must be made toward one other person. If a high five is completed, go out for ice cream! (as a consolation, the 3rd wins the decision). All tied? try again. Left hanging = lose.
.
Either way, I look forward to making decisions with you later.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
Did you do anything for Mardi Gras?
.
I purposefully had Reese's Pieces and Blue Bell mint-chocolate chip ice cream.

Rock-Paper-Scissors-Lizard-Spock

Dear QotD?ers,
.
Wow, that was a fast Monday for me. I don't know if I got enough done, but it sure was fast.
I've been smelling imaginary smells these last day and a half. Yesterday it was mint and today it was baked goods. I'm not sure if I should start worrying yet. We'll see what Tuesday has in store for me.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
What element would you add to the game rock-paper-scissors? What would be the accompanying hand signal? How would it fit into the heirarchy of defeat?

There's singing. and dancing

Dear QotD?ers,
.
Want a good excuse to wear pink & pearls and see the musical Legally Blonde? Have a girls night! That's what I did. Dinner was wonderful, the musical was fun, and I got to spend time with my two friends Amanda and Alicia.
This week is somewhat eventful. There will be some work, an away team meeting on Wednesday, Ash Wednesday and the start of lent. Hmm, that hummas will come in handy on Friday.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
What musicals have you seen live? (high school or local productions totally count)
.
Well, I've seen that one that's set on a cruise boat, but it was altered when the male lead actually proposed to the female lead. She totally turned him down :O
I was in Oliver and Once Upon a Matress. (in the pit, despite my chorus try-out efforts). A local theatre review show starring AmandaSaur. I saw Phantom of the Opera at Fair Park in grade school, Fosse in highschool, Les Miserable with Mom and teacher friends, Carmen (an opera... but i'm going to include it anyway) with my cousin in college, Fiddler on the Roof with my boyfriend in College, Wicked with my husband and now Legally Blonde. It really was pretty funny.

solve my problems for me, thanks!

Dear QotD?ers,
.
We ended up going to a resteraunt called Jasper's and it was pretty good. I had salad with a ham n' gouda panini. And then I shared a tiny piece of uber chocolate cake with some vanilla ice cream. Here's the weird part: the ice cream came in a tiny mug with a straw.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
What can I do in order to get to bed by 10:30?
.
Love,
The Asker

you had to ask?

Dear QotD?ers,
.
I would be very hessitant to eat anything from an "encased meat emporium." Now, if someone were to offer me a bite of their exotic dish, and I liked it, and then they bought one for me... that might be ok. But I would not purposefully purchase kangaroo sausage.
.
Do you realize what an akward conversation that could be to overhear?
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
Where would you like to have lunch?
.
Cheesecake Factory.

I'd think it a little shady

Dear QotD?ers,
.
I would eat reading. It would be delicious and I would love every bit of it. I also suspect that I would become fat.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
Would you eat kangaroo sausage from a place called "Hot Doug's : The Sausage Superstore and Encased Meat Emporium "?
.
Love,
The Asker
P.S. back-up question: Would you eat anything from a place like that?

also strange

Dear QotD?ers,
.
To start I would have some burbling brook. I would have keyboard clickity-clacks for a pallet clenser and the main course would be this crazy techno song I heard on the radio. Dessert would be adorable kitten mews and the ICQ "uhoh!". If I simply wanted some comfort food, I would choose between GemTV chatter, episodes of Joy of Painting with Bob Ross, or the skritchity-skritch of a classmate using a pencil to do work while your head is laying on the desk.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is along similar lines:
.
If you were part of an alien species (or a robot) that subsisted on something non-physical (like fear or (wave-like) photons or new experiences), What would you east?

A little out there....

Dear QotD?ers,
.
Justin and I went camping this weekend. We were going to spend Friday and Saturday night in a tent, but Saturday evening it started raining.. and thundering and lightening. So we packed it all up and were home in time to unload, shower and sleep in a bed!
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
If you were a robot that subsisted only on sounds or noise, what would be your favorite meal?

Loves

Dear QotD?ers,
.
It's Friday and I slept in. That's why today's edition is late. I looove sleeping in.
I have some fond and some horrible memories of stop action. Horrible: stop-action Easter special. There was a rabbit with a mechanical tail and everything just creeped me out and made me uncomfortable. I'm not much of a fan for the Christmas holiday specials either. Fond: sesame street stop action, aka, Teeny Little Super Guy.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
What's your most memorable Valentine's?
.
It wasn't quite on Valentine's Day, but I got engaged this one time!
Back in H.S. I was getting notes and presents from a secret admirer... it ended up being my two best friends.

and a tiny adjustment here ~click~ and another tiny move ~click~ and turn this just a little ~click~

Dear QotD?ers,
.
Justin continues to make intresting recipes from our cookbook. last night we had rootbeer pulled pork sammiches. You cook pork in rootbeer! It was pretty good, so I'm glad we are having leftovers for lunch. Thanks to Jackie for linking to the Jello Flavors website. I wanted to try the peach, but Target didn't have it, so I got PiƱa Colada instead. It's a little strange, because it is more opaque than transparent. But it tasted good. I think those belonging to the jello shots community should try it out. wait, do you think that's what Jell-O is doing? I mean, they have margarita and strawberry daquiri flavors as well... I'm onto you Jell-O!

It Jiggles

Dear QotD?ers,
.
I was delighted with the variety of responses. Anne, I'm glad that Jessica enjoyed her alternative to camping, but I don't understand why Bob is all excited about eating white bread. TamiJean, I may demand an audio clip of Mr. Steven hooting for a future QotD? endevour. Moo, I'm not sure that you can go camping with two small children, espeically with alligators around, but I bet we'd have fun! Sabrina, I hope there are no clouds this weekend so we can enjoy the stars (and I agree about the Eagle Scout!) Anne, I'm so happy your family has sammiches. Mom, I may take the camera to capture the beauty of nature. Other Mom, camp-out breakfast is good! Moana, oh, there will be s'mores and an air mattress!
.
Today's Question of the Day? is from Tuesday's morning's newscast:
.
Apparently it was 'create a new Jell-o flavor day,' so what new flavor would you create?
.
The anchorman said woodland mushrooms and the weatherman said pomegranate & foie gras. PLEASE create more palatable flavors.
.
I would choose POG jello. Passion fruit - Orange - Guava is the most delicious juice I have ever had. I believe it would make delicious jello.

the great outdooors

Dear QotD?ers,
.
Monday is over. Hooray! Justin made a salmon dish for dinner and I liked it! Not that Justin's cooking is questionable, but I usually don't enjoy salmon.
No real big plans this week. Work. Oh yeah, this weekend we are going CAMPING!
.
Today's Question of the Day? is: from Justin
.
What was really fun to do the last time you went camping?

You've got a funky shape!/ Bet you roll really great!/ Love you, my Jet Puffed _____

Dear QotD?ers,
.
I had a great weekend involving family, great food, a wedding , dancing, a '5k'and one great 2-hour nap.
I should start writing down all my QotD? ideas in my notebook. I had at least 3 good ideas and now I can't remember any of them.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
What are your feelings on marshmallows and marshmallow products?
.

.
You're soft and squishy, too.
Can't get enough of you!
Love you, my Jet Puffed Marshmallow!

Axiom Cookies

Dear QotD?ers,
.
If your fitness instructor asks the group which body region they want to focus most on, lie. We all came to this realization within 5 minutes of our extreme lower body workout.
I'm surprisingly alert and energetic this morning. I'm not sure if it's because of the nap I was able to take yesterday afternoon or the rediscovery of old files hiding in a folder titled "Kristen's Backup" in a folder titled "Justin's Backup" that was tucked away in one of my Documents folders. I listened to Ma Meeshka Mow Skwoz by Mr. Bungle and "ARRRR, I BE A PIRATE!" recordings from days of old.
.
Also, there's a large quantity of free sodas in the fridge in the galley. It's time to stockpile for a rainy day.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
What's the best fortune cookie message (or most recent, or most remembered) you've recieved in a fortune cookie?
.
I've saved some of those slips of paper that I thought were particularly poignant at the time. Like ones about finding true love when I was on dates with Justin, or ones about future job prospects when I was interviewing. Yestrday I got one that read "Sometimes it's nice to be important, but it's more important to be nice." That is not a fortune, or even a clairvoyant reflection on my character. I will be calling them axiom cookies from now on.

Aye, it's aboot tam

Dear QotD?ers,
.
Sometimes I'm surprised at how much response I'll get for a question. For example, yesterday sparked more responses and discussion than I would have ever guessed. I also would have never guessed that every single respondent was at least 5 hotness points higher than me.
FYI: The only time I enjoy black pepper is in soups as pepper corns. I love to play "How many pepper corns in your bowl?"
FYI: This morning I weighed myself. Then I brushed my teeth, washed my face and put in my contacts. Result: I gained two pounds. whu?

Fire Face

Dear QotD?ers,
.
Our exercise class was particularly challenging today. I'm still not sure if I'll be sore tomorrow, sign this soreness hasn't lasted more than some hours. I don't know, we'll see. Today I had 3 servings of fruit, 2 servings of vegitables and 1 serving of burn-your-mouth bbq chicken.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
On a scale of 1-15, what is your tolerance for spicey food?
.
Feel free to individually define the levels of hotness.
.
If 1 is black pepper, 5 is delightfully enjoyed mild rotel & velveta, 10 is "really good chili" and 15 is pure capsaisin... I'm about a 6.75. I estimate Justin's pain level to be around 13. Sometimes this makes eating dinner a challenge for me. Still, thanks for making face-burning chicken for dinner, Justin.

cheese dessert - tastier than it might sound

Dear QotD?ers,
.
For the brief times that I was outside today, I did indeed see my shadow. I also looked up some statistics and the official groundhogs-day groundhog correctly predicts the weather less than 40% of the time.
.
I finished watching the superbowl halftime and commercials tonight. If I was a Bruce Springstein fan I would have enjoyed it more, but it was still pretty great. I have yet to decide on my favorite commercial. I'll do that by Wednesday.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is from Jackie:
.
Is cheesecake a pie or a cake?
.
It doesn't matter, it's delicious! but seriously, I"ll have a well thought out answer sometime tomorrow. Thanks for the question, Jackie!

Super Commercials....

Dear QotD?ers,
.
Happy February to you! I think today [Monday] is also Groundhogs day!
I had a good weekend and was able to see my friends Jennifer and Annan, and then my parents, older brother's family and some cousins at a baby shower.
.
For the last hour or so I've been watching the SuperBowl at 6x normal speed, complete with audio. It's a hilarious, Chipmunk version, of the superbowl.
.
Today's Questions of the Day? are:
.
Did you watch any of the SuperBowl yesterday?
.
Do you see your shadow today?
