Happy New Year! 7/9

Dear QotD?ers,

Hey everyone. Did I tell you that I'm supposed to restrict my physical activity? Yeah. It's not bed rest, but it's a step towards it. I'm hoping that my powers of super lazyness will win over my reduced circulation.

Just a sec, the baby wants to say hi. ~bulging abdomen moves~

My goals for 2011 all involve this baby: paint the nursery, have all the real necessities by the time baby is born, have a baby, be 'good' parents, figure out child care. Those are good goals.

Today's Question of the Day? is:
Do you have any big trips planned for this year?

Happy New Year! 6/9

Dear QotD?ers,

My little brother is now living in Wyoming. so cooold. I would never make it. I've been having a rough time down here on the gulf coast where's it's only gotten down to 28 degrees. Good luck and God Bless!

Hmm, what world event had an impact on me? I thought this would be a good question, but I'm having a hard time thinking of something. I'm going to pick the winter olympics because I love the olympics. the opening ceremonies are always fantastic. the gulf oil spill was a pretty big deal, but I wouldn't say it impacted me greatly. Yes, it was terrible and I'm sure prices on gas related stuff went up, but directly, not much.

I ordered girl scout cookies today. i can't wait until i get them.

Today's Question of the Day? is:
What goals or resolutions do you have for 2011?

Happy New Year! 5/9

Dear QotD?ers,

We had our first of five childbirth classes this evening. It was just the intro class and we didn't get too in depth on any one topic. If my face swells up, I should call the doctor. I might not be able to tell if it's my water breaking or my baby giving me a punch in the bladder. you know, crazy general information like that.

I'm eating pudding.

The farthest distance I travelled in my heart was to Brazil for a wedding that we timed out SHOULD have been possible, but this baby didn't care. The farthest distance I travelled with my physical self was up to the DFW metroplex. I had to use google to see if that was a farther trip than Lake Charles, LA.

Today's Question of the Day? is:
What world event in 2010 made the most impact on you?

Happy New Year! 4/9

Dear QotD?ers,

We went to a wedding this weekend (woah, that's some alliteration). Here's a picture of us all dressed up: Don't we look good? I find Justin especially handsome and my hair looks fantastic. This is going to be one of those pictures I'm proud to show my child when they are 5. "look! that's you!" I'll say. "Mommy, you look so pretty!" Bryndle Xor will say. "Thank you sweetie!" Aren't we a great family already?

I bet you could all could guess what our most significant change was in 2010. If you guess 'PREGNANCY,' you would be correct. My life completely changed. And I hate to sound negative, but it changed for the worse. I'm glad there are some women out there who have uneventful pregnancies or even love being pregnant. But my first two trimesters, with the exceptions of 6-8 weeks was ROUGH and AWEFUL. I lost weight, I was on drugs, I was on a drug pump from September to November. This pregnancy has taken a physical and emotional toll on me. Good thing I'm going to love this baby!

What is the farthest you travelled in 2010?

Happy New Year! 3/9

Dear QotD?ers,

Today was a better day. I started the day with Pepcid AC which kept the heartburn away. Sadly, Justin had to attend a last minute meeting at work and we didn't get to leave until 6:15 today. Seriously? Seriously.

my 2010 goals:
-get together with friends once a month. I did really good for the first half of the year, then went completely off the radar for a few months. November and December were good, though.
-go to bed early. I did NOT do good for the first half of the year, then required early sleep as a coping mechanism. Success?
-exercise. fail, all around. oh well
-decorate the house and stuff. I did get some more frames up and the Christmas decorations looked real good.
-Make QotD? better. no, this did not happen. again, QotD? went off the radar for a few months
-Keep up with the 365 picture blog. see above.
-SECRET GOAL = GET PREGNANT. SUCCESS.

from a pure numbers standpoint, 4 to 2. but that last 1 superceeds all the failures, so I have no regrets.

Today's Question of the Day? is:
What was the most significant change for you in 2010?

Happy New Year! 2/9

Dear QotD?ers,

Today was not a good day. I didn't feel good and I got overwhelmed with being pregnant and the fact that I haven't done anything about childcare yet.

For New Year's Eve, Justin and I stayed at home and watched TV and played games. I ate egg rolls and pizza and then had heartburn. I hate heartburn. We watched the ball drop and then went to bed. Those crazy kids in the neighborhood set off fireworks and we stayed away from the windows.

Today's Quesiton of the Day? is:

Now that 2010 is over, How did you do on your resolutions or goals? (Here's a reminder of what they were)

Happy New Year! 1/9

Dear QotD?ers,

HAPPY NEW YEAR! We made it! 2010 is over and 2011 is ahead of us. QotD? started out the year strong, completely collapsed in the middle of the year from exhaustion and misery, and I'm trying to kick it up here again. Please be patient as the revival continues and know that every response I get makes me happy. :D

Today's Question of the Day? is:
Who did you spend New Year's Eve with and what did you do to celebrate?

Looove,
The Asker
