Pizza Parrty

Dear QotD?ers,
.
Today is pizza day at work! Since everyone in my group participated in a safety program, we earned a pizza lunch. I was out of the office at training last year during pizza day and was very upset, but today I get to eat pizza! I am actually very excited about this.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
Do you have a favorite word with double letters?
.
Love,
The Asker
.
P.S. Happy Birthday Sabrina!
P.P.S. Happy expansion pack release, WoW fans!

This is a bizzare question. Why would someone have preference for a word just because there happen to be to letters next to each other? I mean pizza is great, and so is tommorrooww which I spell with too many doubles on account of not remembering which letters are actually doubled. There's also moonbounce, pillow, butterfly, sleep, marshmallow, maroon, all kittens, snappy and sassy, engineer, koolaid, cheese, and diatomic molecules! OO! NN!

In conclusion, I doubt anyone truely has a favorite word with doubles, but I think they are fun and cool.

Doubles word count - 26

How emmbbarrassing! I spell tommorroww almost the same way and for the same reason!!

In the book Animalia, there is a baboon playing a bassoon that always makes me laugh because it is funny.

And I like my name...

I have to get Jake to school and then get in touch with Peter in London who always makes me say "Cheerio" when we are done talking, so I cannot invest enough time in whimsical fun today...unless you count saying cheerio as whimsical fun!

aa : basaltic lava having a rough surface.

I once saw some in Arizona and a sign said that the name came from what a person says when walking on aa. like, Ah! Ah! So it is onomatopeia as well!

thanks, Kristen!

Oh, before I forget. I recommend to all lover's of organic chemistry the book "Napoleon's Buttons: How 17 Molecules Changed History" by Penny Le Couteur and Jay Burreson. I think the title rather gives the plot away, but it is very interesting and while they discuss organic chemistry, it is rudimentary in the explanations, so I think most people could follow the chemistry. But it is surely a joy for those who know and love organic chemistry. Put it on a Christmas list!! Thank me later!!

Reminds me of the game "What's behind the green glass door?" It was a fun trick to play on green scouts around the campfire. All the older boys knew the trick. Goes like this:

There are trees, but no plants.
There is a flood, but no water.
There are mammals, but no animals.
So.. what's behind the green glass door?

Word Verif: holynet (no joke! screenshot!)
