Excuse me?

Dear QotD?ers,
.
Yesterday I tried to fit in too many activities in the evening and ended up going to bed late. Today is going to be a long day for me, but thankfully it's the end of the week.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
Have you ever been the victim of identity theft or credit fraud?
.
Love,
The Asker

Thankfully no, but there have been two times when someone did a poor job and called me about someone else's phone or bank account. It's very frustrating.

Yes, I had my identity stolen from me about 16 years ago. I have tried endlessly to get it back, but regardless of my efforts, I have yet to be recognized by anything other than a mom or a wife. Now all sorts of people have access to my money. I especially get annoyed when I have cash in my purse and someone takes it because they need cash apparently MORE than I do and they forget to tell me that they took the money. I get all sorts of bills that I do not recognize and there is a constant line of people asking me for more money! It is just awful!! And the bank won't help me. I have asked for cash that explodes on contact from anyone other than myself, and they told me they can't do that.

Yes, and it was very scary! We got a call about 6 months ago, and we got a call asking about $11,000 of charges. It was not fun.
