Hail to the [your answer here]

Dear QotD?ers,
.
I'm so glad to learn that so many of you voted! TamiJean, did you get to keep the magic pen? Sabrina, do you have duel citizenship and can vote there as well?
.
In case you have not read or watched any news outlet or talked to anyone: Barak Obama looks to have won the presidential rate. For those of you who voted for him, congratulations. For those that did not, the government has checks and balances. I bet Mr. Obama will be one of the most scrutenized presidents of all time.
.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
What is the highest position you've held in any organization?
.
Hmm. I was the advertising officer for p.studio.
.
Love,
The Asker

Well, the beauty of Enviro Systems is that I can claim any office I want! Enviro Systems, a corporation that is run by one of the biggest proponents of free enterprise next to Milton Friedman, is small and flexible enough that I get to walk in any shoes here! I can be the janitor, the filing clerk, the accountant, or the president! (I can only be president when Mr. Ken is out of the office, though, and I can't gloat about it!!) Recently, I assigned myself the title of CFO and failed to include my first name, which would identify me as female. I got a very favorable response from Johannesburg in this manner. I gloated all week.

With Blue Ox, I also have similar status, although my job description broadens quite a bit there....accountant, filer, invoicing staff, collections department, lunch maker and deliverer, delivery truck driver for the tools that were forgotten...and I have never claimed to be president for Blue Ox. There has not been a need for that.

So I guess the honest answer is that I don't live in the real world and the titles I bear are not related to my accomplishments, skills or determination. So the best title is Mother of Three.

Verification word is SOCKED! HA

WOO! I was band president in high school! Probably the most exciting thing for me because I FINALLY got to walk across the football field and go visit other bands. And I pulled off a super awesome band banquet. Yes, I know. I'm a big nerd.

I was also president of TAFE (Texas Association of Future Educators) my junior year. But there was a mutiny my senior year and I did not get re-elected. I'm still bitter about that to this day. But it all worked in the end because band president was a bajillion times cooler!
