I'm glad that some of you got to catch up this weekend with your answers. I've really enjoyed reading them and I appreciate the thought that you've put into them.
My country would be a re-independenced Texas. I definately think that there's enough state pride that we could pull it off. I'd keep most of the state's deisgnations as the 'nations' (mockingbird, bluebonnet, chili) but I'd add "State Pest: fire ants."
Today's Question of the Day? is:
What time do you regularly wake up?
For those of you in the education field, please provide summertime and schooltime answers.
Love,
The Asker
P.S. I made psuedo s'mores yesterday and they were SUPER MESSY.

Usually around 6:30, but we've been trying to wake up around 5:00 to do some jogging/walking.
Horray for short commutes to work! <3
I wake up at 5:45am, getting 20 minutes to get ready before the hour commute
6:15am, and it's well after the crack of dawn.
Wow, an hour commute, Kristen? You are strong. I hope you get to sleep on the way!
usually 6 am, but that's just so i can get back to bed after my shower and sleep another 30 minutes.
Normally I'm up by 9. But If I have to be at work at 8, I'm up by 630.
I'll be teaching this year and I'm not certain what time I'll need to be up by yet.
I usually get up at about 4:30. Since it is summer and my kids can sleep forever, I will sometimes sleep until 5:30.
It depends. If I decide to go to water aerobics, I have to wake up at 6:50. But if I decide to sleep in, I wake up anywhere between 7:30 and 8:30, usually towards the later. That's the nice part of my job is I can come in when I want and I get to walk to work!
5:00am... I still don't understand how it takes me 1 hour to get ready in the morning...
well, it does depend on when my little guy gets up, could be anywhere from 5:00 to 7:30, but if I actually get to wake him up, it's usually 6:45 on weekdays when I'm teaching.
Anne's comment gave me another reason I never wish to become a mother of three.
Kristen, I'm a boy and still can't get ready in 20 minutes (unless I'm at summer camp). Breakfast usually takes 20 minutes for me.
I usually wake up around 5:45. Then again at 6:15. Then 6:20, then 6:25... but I'm outta bed at 6:30.
Cunao is confusing to me. I am aware that a transgender male just gave birth to a baby, but outside of that scenario, how does Cunao ever expect to be a mother of three??
So let me clarify for Cunao. The stupid, insane part of my life is not the three kids. It is being the employee of both my husband's business AND an employee of my father's business. A lot of work can be accomplished at 5am.
Summer time is about 6 a.m...trying to walk at 7 a.m.
During the school year it is about 5:30 a.m. so I can leave between 6:30-7:00a.m.
No expectations. Being a non-transgender male, I have biology on my side making my wish more likely to come true. Wow, you're a hard worker, Anne!
Depends on how many times sleepy-brained morning Paris hits the snooze....that dang snooze button is just always begging to be hit!
