cutting with scisors

Dear QotD?ers,

When I was younger, I was an under-age driver a lot. Frequently I am a movie star and my dream is the movie. I will know the plot, because I've obviously read the screenplay, so its interesting to see how my mind is aware of the future while the character I'm playing is not.

We saw three cats on the drive into the neighborhood this afternoon, and then Justin went and got himself a supershort, astronaut style haircut.

Today's Question of the Day? is:
How frequently do you get your haircut?

Love,
The Asker

A trim or a 'shape up' about every six weeks. A different hair cut or style every couple of years.

When I find someone I really like(to cut my hair), I am very faithful to that hair dresser and don't go to anyone else.

I am now getting my hair cut about every four weeks. For many years, I only got a cut about once every three to six months. But then the accerelated aging process that occurs between 35 and 45 hit, and my hair was no longer silky and beautiful and easy to care for and I was no adjusting my lackadaisical habits to adjust for this. So I have forced myself into a new routine so that I can look and feel better.

I have never had astronaut short hair, but I had a flat top once.

Every 2 months or so. It used be every five or more months...and when I look back at photos I wish I had put a little more effort into getting more regular haircuts!

I am also extremely faithful to good hairstylists. I've walked through rain and snow to get to them.

I get a cut about every 4-6 weeks also. I have to get the color touched up about every 3 months. I too, am faithful to a hair dresser and find great anxiety in trying someone new. Kristen, I did like Elizabeth, but have to wait until April for the next appointment! She is popular.

I'm aiming for every two or three months or so.

I'm pretty lazy about the haircutting, which is why my pixie cut did not last very long. It was fun and easy to style (and the drying! Oh, it was almost worth it just for the drying!) but the cost in both time and cash to keep it cut short was too much.

I am too lazy for short hair.

Was the stylist new? Did you want your hair cut that short or did it just happen? Anxious to see this new short do!

I only get 2 or 3 haircuts a year, it's pretty difficult to find a good stylist in a military community, one of the other of you is always moving away. I'm going to try for a trim before we go back to Japan in a month.

Not frequently enough ... I hate getting my hair cut, but I have horrible split ends ...

And I am also extremely loyal to my hairstylist, but that's by default. She's my mom's close friend and I've been going to her for-ev-er.

I want to see pictures!

Mom, finding that someone is hard.

Anne, i wont believe it until I see a picture

Sabrina, rain AND snow? that's dedicated!

2nd Mom, I'm glad you like her! Thanks to you for recommending her in originally.

TamiJean, you could have had Mr. Steven take a hair cutting class!

Husband, Mike Dexter, but shorter.

Angela, you still have another month before you go back? I hadn't realized!

Dear The Asker,
You have seen pictures of me which were taken without my discretion and needless to say that the takers of those pictures, or so called family, now reside in my basement, all cryogenically frozen. So I now dress up like my mother and kill unsuspecting women that stay at my motel... oh, wait thats not me. And the last time I got my haircut I believe it was the ides of march 44 bc where we were partying with ceaser before someone had to come along and ruin the entire thing by stabbing him relentlessly. Party poopers.
Sincerly,
Dr. Fandango, Aka Tim Curry, King of the women dressers

Dr. Fandango, it was a very sinister picture of you.. if that helps any.

Wow, I feel like the odd one out. I get my cut (and colored) about every 5 months or so. Somehow I am lucky enough (and have a great hair dresser) that when my highlights grow out, they don't look bad. I am trying to grow my hair out right now too. When I had super short hair, I did get it cut about once a month, which proved to be too ridiculous on my wallet.
