Cake: 1/5

Dear QotD?ers,

Happy Birthday to Me! IT has been a good weekend. I got some jewelry from Moms and Justin took me to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner tonight. I had a peach bellini and cheesecake (also there was actual dinner). Thank you to all of those who sent me happy birthday messages one way or another. :]

Today's Question of the Day? is:
What is your favorite flavor of cake?

Love,
The Asker

Happy Birthday, Kristen!! I'm glad it was fun! One day we will be able to share it with you in the same place.

Chocolate is my favorite flavor. But not german chocolate. Just plain ole delicious, cocoa-y, deeply flavored chocolate cake. yum! Hope you had some good cheesecake!

Yellow cake is my favorite. I know it's not very exciting, but it is a classic! I also like Score Cake, which is a yellow cake with chocolate pudding mix blended in. The icing I use for Score Cake is a whipped icing that is soooo much better than the stuff from bakeries.

The Miners.. your cake sounds delicious. My favorite is German Chocolate Cake. Every birthday since our children were pre-schoolers, my husband makes it for me from scratch. MMmmmmmm. Italian Cream is a close second!

As The Asker has scientifically proven that cheesecake is actually a pie, I'll have to go with a carrot cake on this one. A little spicy, with rich cream cheese frosting...mmmmm...can't be beat.

Asker, I do apologize for being a spectator and taking so long to respond to my public calling out on June 15. I am a dedicated spectator though.

As TamiJean pointed out I can't choose Cheese Cake. So I have to say Hershey Bar Cake which my wonderful wife makes. It's not so much a cake as it is some flour, eggs and something like 200 Hershey bars in the shape of a cake. It's hurt-me good.

Auntie Barb, if you're watching my pseudonym is dedicated to you.
