I like the hot water heater. A cold natured person likes me really needs warm water. And that's how I periodically warm my hands (to normal human temperature) while spending the day at the icebox that is my office building.
Speaking of cold natured, let me introduce you to our front yard neighbor, ToadFrend! (no i on purpose) Occasionally he'll come out on the porch for a visit, but he's still pretty shy. I'm very glad he has a home in our front flower bed. I'll try to get pictures of TinyToadFrend, also front yard, and the frog and toad that live in the backyard. Seriously, it feels magical to have so many amphibians to protect us from bugs and spiders.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
Who is the last person you talked to over the phone, and what was the major topic of conversation?
Love,
The Asker

I just talked to Dennis on the phone. The group going from our church on the annual Medical Mission trip to Mexico was delayed until mid morning due to church van problems. He and the group arrived safely. They were busy unpacking supplies and setting up their bedding. Man, it is late...I must go to bed.
I am usually one of the first to answer because your night time is my middle of the next day.
I last spoke to a woman that I don't know. She's got a small Christmas tree and other holiday items for sale and I'm hoping to buy them for a friend of mine who is having her first baby any day now. They did not bring any of their holiday decorations with them and I don't want Baby Brooke to be without a tree on her first Christmas.
The last person I talked with on the phone was a person from BankAmerica wanting us to purchase life insuranse on our Visa, that we don't even use. I told her that they call almost every day and to STOP CALLING!!!!
The last person I spoke to on the phone was Bob, who called last night to let me know the final amount for the invoice to Silverado. Okay, it wasn't so much night as it was early evening, but I was already in a steep decline.
Talked to Matthew about our trip to College Station on Friday and going to the game on Saturday.
Kristen,
It is good to have toads in the yard.
Jeannie,
Hope Dennis has a productive trip and a safe trip home.
Minears,
You are so sweet to think of Baby Brooke. You are a good friend!
Your toad looks nice and healthy. I hope he sings.
last night I talked to a friend who wants me to take family photos for her. yay!
I think my mother and we talked about a trip to new jersey
Ben, our pastor, about whether or not one can bring children to the Employee Health Fair at Baylor College of Medicine. It turns out that you cannot, though I did try.
A guy at work about localizing AutoCAD license servers. Not real interesting.
Yesterday, I called my cohort in caffeine at work and let her know I intended to use up the rest of the cinnamon sugar cookie coffee until it was gone, so if she had a request for a different flavor, she should let me know. ^_^
I just got off the phone with my dad, and we discussed the weather, what the weather was going to look like this weekend, and our plans for tonight.
Dear The Asker,
When I last talked on the phone it was to a man whos name I did not know, but I would like to call him Pizza Delivery guy.
