Beef?

Dear QotD?ers,

Today's was one of those days where I don't like my job. There was a silver lining, in that my emergency* ride home (and two other passengers) came over for dinner and we ate our first meal at the fancy dining room table. THEN we saw a toad outside and a frog sticking on our bedroom window. YAY AMPHIBIANS.

Today's Question of the Day? is:
What did you have for dinner last night?

Love,
The Asker
*by 'emergency' I mean the van-pool leaves at 5pm and I ended up leaving at 6pm

Homemade chicken pot pie, salad and iced tea. Jessica made little autumn leaf cutouts for the top of the pie crust and loved that!

Grilled turkey cutlets with cranberry salsa. It was nice having dinner guests!

Wow, what an incredibly healthy-eating bunch!

I had wheat pasta with tomato sauce, apple chicken sausage, and sauteed onion and green pepper.

I'll be adding some pineapple salsa to the leftovers - this was a "quick! Use up four packages of things in the fridge!" meal and there wasn't enough tomato sauce left for all the pasta! *grins*

Dear The Asker,
I would love to say that I had caviar with the finest wine and cheese from France. But alas the wonderful feast that I had last night was nothing but a frozen, microwaveable chicken pot pie( however I did not microwave it because I belive that the chef side of my brain would never talk to me again, so i settled on baking it).
