interwebs delivery

Dear QotD?ers,

I have neglected to answer some of my own recent questions. I like to have gingerale or cranapple juice. I really miss honey roasted peanuts as an airplane snack choice. I remember my dad would bring me the little packages when he had been off on a business trip. I think chewey cookies would be a good snack, with a choice of chocoalte chip or oatmeal rasin, or peanut butter.
I don't think I've ever gotten a flu shot. like may of you, I'm not in the at-risk group and don't plan on getting either innoculation.
I didn't go on my walk today. It was still 91ºF at 4:30, and I wasn't intereted in fighting that sort of oppresive heat in mid-October.

Today's Question of the Day? is:
Does your computer use wireless or hardwired internet?

Love,
The Asker

We have a wireless router but it's not currently plugged in because we unplugged it when we got new, faster internet a few months ago and never hooked it back up. We don't really have a need for wireless in the house, but we have wireless on our laptop that has come in handy as we travel.

Bob's laptop is wireless, but that is for outisde the home use. The home connection is in the wall.

I am not too interested in wireless at home, as it makes monitoring computer use a little more difficult for me. And despite the pleas about how cool it would be to play games live with other people, not too hip on that concept for the 2/3 of my kids who are really not that old.

Hey, I just brought Ford in, and I think it is STILL 91 outside this morning, although my weather reports indicated a cold front was supposed to bring in cooler temperatures today. It felt gross out in the swamp lands that used to be our yards.

@ TamiJean and Groovy Sabrina,

Being who I am, and apologies to all the Methodists out there, the only thing I ever said to Carmen about her husband through all that was, "Well, he has no respect for coffee and he is SUCH a Methodist!!" Carmen once expressed to me that she really appreciated that comment because it hurt even more when people would say negative things about the man she loved, and the fact that I made her laugh about the whole things was a very rare stone. I had to ask if she meant a kidney stone.

wireless

Both!

My work computer is wired. My home desktop is wired. My beloved laptop is wireless. (My home router delivers both wired and wireless interwebs).

@Anne
Rock on. Laughter is the best medicine, especially when everything else is misery. <3

And I don't think you could incite kidney stones. You are far too awesome for kidney stones.

@ TamiJean,

Yes, well, some people find my bitter humor a bit like a cup of hot coffee in their face. I claim no glories for my sarcastic approach to life. It just works for me.

Hey, did Dr. Fandango say he purposefully contaminates those vessels of sublime wonder and happiness?? I liked him better when he called his mother a yak!

Wired.
That's how I sometimes feel if I have a lot of coffee!
