Act your age, not your...

Dear QotD?ers,
.
No, I don't have today off, but I do have a meeting today off-site. I have been thinking about you though.
.
Amanda, I am jealous that you got to have lunch with Matthew and Jackie. Matthew and Jackie, I'm jealous that you got to have lunch with Amanda. You should all come have lunch with me!
.
Gustav is still on the radar, but he's not as exciting as we thought he would be. It looks like our labor day exended weekend will be unaffected. I will probably purchase some water and non-perishable snacks this afternoon to be held until hurrican season is over. Just in case there are other hurricanes on the way that may actually effect our power supply.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
What's your shoe size?
.
Love,
The Asker
.

American size 7 1/2 (though the cute shoes I bought at Target are a size 7)

I'm the same!

7 1/2, though sometimes 7, depending on the shoe.

My tall friend laughingly teases me for being 'display size' when we go shoe shopping together.

Before children: 6.5 or an infrequent 7

After children: 7.5 or an infrequent 8

The storyline I have heard is that a woman's body releases a hormone druing pregnancy that has the sole purpose of loosening joints, thus making the pelvic bones softer and easier to move. The hormone is not site-specific, and so feet also get softer and move apart. I don't know how that made my feet LONGER, but that was the only part of my body that grew in length...the rest was a width expansion! Yeah!!

Baby names.. That was a fun site! I don't know if there are any impending or pertinent discussions about baby names, but I offer this.

Typically, I roll my eyes at people like this, but Jacob's friend/enemy (she hated him yesterday) is named Bentleigh. She is one of seven children that all have names like her's. I can't name all seven, but watch:

Bentleigh
Brayden
Berkley
Brooks

All "B" names. All a bit different. All can be either a boy or a girl and you don't know with them until you ask!! I kinda am in awe of her parents for this.

Just so you know, Bentleigh's parents divorced and when her mom remarried, it became a family of TEN kids!!! They actually added a new child to the nine that came with the marriage and now have a one year old! This is how I know that I am not crazy!!

12-ish I think.

Hurricane prep is a good and responsible activity. Gustav still looks to be bearing down on Loisiana. I hope New Orleans spent our money wisely.

I'm a US 10/11, EUR 45/46 and Brazil size 43/44! I didn't know any of this, but it's all written on my flip-flops for easy reference.

I got off on the right foot with the new blog version of QotD, but I haven't stepped foot on QotD terrain for a while. I'm putting my foot down before I shoot myself in the foot, making this shoe question my foot in the door with a step in the right direction. Did I just put my foot in my mouth?

7.5 I guess I'm pretty average.

IF I buy heels, I buy a size 9

I feel like I have BIG feet.....but
at least when I treat myself and get a pedicure, I have pretty, soft feet!

Mostly I wear a women's 5.5. If I want to get shoes from Lands End I wear either a kids 3 or 4 depending on the style. My skating boots are a kids 3.

size 9, sometimes 8.5 or 9.5 depending on the shoes (and how much i want said shoes...!). my running/tennis/exercise shoes are typically 9.5 because i have special arch supports that i have to wear, so i need a little extra room to avoid toe squishing.
