It's not left-overs, it's Renewed Dinner!

Dear QotD?ers,
.
I have moved or emptied 4 boxes today! Only 2-dozen to go! But I think all the games are in the game closet and all the books are in the study. The study has the most stuff in it, with two computers/desks, bookshelves... Justin is working on updating our DVR to function with our *new* wireless home network, so he's got THAT computer in here as well, hooked up to the TVCR and an extra monitor.
.
Today's Question is inspired by an article that Justin read about all the 'rebooting' of old movies, toys, games and fads that have popped up. Transformers. GI Joe. Some other stuff that I can't think of right now.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
What some-thing from the past would you like to see updated and renewed?
.
Love,
The Asker

I think Chatty Kathy would be a nice one!

I dislike the way that they've 'updated' things lately. My Little Pony, Barbie, and Strawberry Shortcake come to mind...

Perhaps the TV shows....
Lassie, Sky King, Fury.........
that is all I can think of right now.

Yes, they sure have changed the look of Strawberry Shortcake. She was one of my favorites! She is still pretty cute, though.

Whatever happened to Rainbow Brite? I miss her. I would like her to make a comeback.

I am with Minears. While the Transformer movies are fun, I am bored of the endless revamps of storylines already done. There are new storylines out there that can be used.

My family is very excited about the Percy Jackson movie, which I think comes out in Feb. 2010. Those are great books and the story line if really fun, so we are excited. We are not so intrigued by the movie "Where the Wild Things Are." Mostly because how can you make that 36 page book into a two hour movie without it going poorly someplace?

And what are those tv shows Kathleen is talking about??? Sky King??? Fury???

TRON might be cool? But I'm still more excited about the Thundercats live-action movie. ReBoot would be awesome nowadays.

BTW, if the words 'ndiswrapper' and 'iwconfig' mean anything to you, give me a call...

Are they not remaking Tron?

Aggie Engineer always talks gibberish!!

1950s shows?!! Stop that, Kathleen!

Along all these lines, besides Black Joe Lewis songs, we are currently enjoying the dance remix for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles!! It is fun!

Just though of another... Wuzzles!

We watched the TRON Legacy trailer yesterday... the graphics look pretty sweet!

Wuzzles?

And when I looked it up, I read that it ran in the 1980s! I have never heard nor seen that show!

I also never played with My Little Ponies, Strawberry Shortcakes,or Cabbage Patch Kids.

I know nothing of Chatty Kathy.

I vaguely remember Thundercats, but never watched it.

Good grief! I am a sad , sad person.
