it's been two months or more

Dear QotD?ers,
.
We did it. We saw a 12:01 showing on a school night. I enjoyed the movie. I enjoyed being excited about something with so many other people (something that wasn't a sporting event).
My sleepy level today at work was better than it was on Tuesday, go figure. But the workday itself was frustrating. Justin and I had contemplated going to bed at 7pm again, and just sleeping the whole night through. But then we got a package that included 'Killer Bunnies' so we played a game after dinner. For two newbies, it was confusing, and I had to keep referring to the rule book, but I'm sure it will be a lot more fun when more than 2 people play.
Anyway, that game ended at 9pm. I still need to shower, and then I will go to bed. To be followed by another day of work!
.
I think my wacky, rediculous show would be on USA, the catchphrase of which is "Characters Welcome"
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
When is it going to rain?
.
Love,
The Asker

As my mother says, " It will rain when the Good Lord wants it to".

It will rain again....most of Texas is so parched....'crunchy'.
Let's hope we don't get 10 inches at one time...in a fast rain. We need to pray for a slow rain...so every precious drop soaks in.

We have had 100+ days for many days. It's nice just to have clouds in the sky...we haven't had much of that!

Rain will come in October.

Our A/C went out on Monday. That was miserable. Plus Jessica got sick and Jacob needed to pack to leave early Tuesday morning. So it was stressful-miserable.

We have tried two times to play Killer Bunnies, but have been interrupted by company and such. It is a little hard with Jessica, but we will prevail.

I have some words about rain lately. It is rainy season here. The sun shines one minute, no clouds, and the next it pours.

When you are a pedestrian who depends on umbrellas, like me, this is very frustrating! Especially since I forget my umbrella at the most inopportune moments. Yesterday, Daryl had to come save me because I was trapped under a fruit stand with about 6 other people with no umbrella.

We have a collection of about 6 umbrellas right now, this does not include all the ones that have broken. And yet I still end up caught in the rain.

It will probably rain within the next 20 mintues. Here's hoping for some considerate drivers who don't splash me on the sidewalk today.

My guess is mid-August into September, when hurricanes really start spinning up.

@tamijean
Killer Bunnies rocks! So far my fav is whipping out saved special cards like the one that redirects incoming weapons fire! Or the terrible black cards of MASS DESTRUCTION! Seriously considering getting the expansion packs now!

@Skittl1321
We also got Settlers of Catan yesterday, really looking forward to that too!

Thanks QotD?'ers for the game suggestions! Keep em coming!

It looks like it might today...

That doesn't help you out at all though.

OH! Kathleen's response reminds me.

Jessica said that God is just really happy these days, because he hasn't cried in a long time. Her Grandpa said that he wished he would cry 'cause we need the rain. Then he asked Jessica if she would do something bad to make God cry for us.

"NO! But I bet you could pinch Him, Grandpa! I mean, if you really want it to rain!!"

Groovysabrina, you need one of those little raincoats that fold up into a neat rectangle...easy to keep in a purse and always ready for use. And I guess the Good Lord is quite sad about someone in Brazil!

We're gonna get a few light showers on Friday.

Wisconsin is really good about the rain. Even when other people are screaming and running for shelter, it's just a little bit of rain. Sometimes just sprinkles. Those people have never experienced the fast 10 inches of rain that Texas gives (like Kathleen mentioned).

Also, Killer Bunnies is more fun with more people, and after the learning curve has been passed. It's easier if someone is there to explain the rules, rather than using the rulebook (which has a horrid layout)
