I wore my matching earrings

Dear QotD?ers,
.
I missed a day! I was in a foul mood yesterday and didn't feel much like it. I hope you will accept my day of QotD? vacation. I'd actually like to take some real vacation from work sometime soon. I'm still looking into that.
.
I can tell you that the clackety noise is not from the making, dumping or moving of ice. That makes more of a grumbly, ice-churning noise. It's so strange. Houses are usually known for their mysterious creaks and groans. Our house has got clickety noises. Anytime the thermostat changes state, it clicks a couple of times. Why?
.
Today was 22/7 - 2009, Pi Approximation day.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
Did you have any? or What sorta pie would you have liked to eat?
.
Love,
The Asker

I did not have pie, but if I could choose I would like a fresh peach pie, YUM, YUM! with ice cream on top. Lauren is on her way to Brazil tonight. She will arrive at 8:45am Houston time, Thursday!

Well, Kristen, in a few short months, you'll be saying "what noises"? That's how our brains accustom ourselves to regular verses unusual sounds. They will just flow on back to the "regular" category. Our clock is like that. And yes, our ice maker makes that goofy sound as well as our heating unit.
I didn't have pie,but would have loved some fresh strawberry pie.

On my way to the pie answer...

I burnt my thumb on my dominant hand yesterday taking cinnamon raisin muffins out of the oven. It is hard to button pants when you have a burnt thumb and I found myself having THIS terrible thought:

If I were just a little older or just a little fatter, I would have eastic waist pants and would not struggle with a button right now.

Both Nick and Jess went to work with me yesterday, and Mr. Ken read them "Sweet Dream Pie." Nick came over to me and said that he always loved that book and it made him very hungry for delicious pie.

I growled and showed him my thumb.

That was the closest we came to delicious pie yesterday.

No pie here, but I'm craving something sweet. So I'm thinking some chocolaty or key lime.

Awww, I missed Pi day. I would have enjoyed some warm apple pie with a scoop of ice cream, but only because I don't trust grocery stores to make a proper pecan pie.

mmmmm pecan pie.

I missed you yesterday, but everyone needs breaks now and again, even The Asker. <3

No, I did not have pie today. There aren't any kinds I really like to eat, though I suppose if I'm really hungry I might try some if they are in front of me...

Everytime we turn a fan off in our house something beeps. We don't know what.

Yesterday I had seedless blackberry pie and it was delicious.
Don't know about your mysterious noises...

There is a Butterfinger Pie?

The Sweet Dream Pie is full of all sorts of candy...gumdrops, marshmallows, candy corn, cinnamon hots!! Why not Butterfingers?

I was dismayed that you were in a bad mood. In my vision of your life, you are always happy, silly and rslaxed. Try not to burst my imaginary world too often, okay?
