Pizza coupons, loved ones, abstract art..

Dear QotD?ers,
.
Do you ever get frustrated by rediculous things? Like, I'm playing this game. And one objective is to let this orphan kid follow you around while you show it how to do tough things. Like capture the flag in your enemy's tower. So I did all of that, and didn't get credit! That's a pretty rediculous thing to get frustrated by, but I did.
.
I really enjoy playing Bananagrams, Apples to Apples and Hit or Miss (Jackie, this is the one with lists). I love Clue, but don't get to play it often. Balderdash is fun, but I don't think I've ever completed a full game. Also: pictionary, trivial persuit and spoons. We are going to have to try Settlers of Catan and Killer Bunnies. FYI: when The Beatles edition of Rock Band comes out on 9/9/9, I will love it most.
.
Today's Quesiton of the Day? is:
.
What is on* your refrigerator?
.
Love,
The Asker
.
*on the front, not on top.

One of the HGTV shows suggested "one of the easiest ways to make your kitchen look neater and larger is to clean off the front of your frig." That said, I have to keep urgent paperwork there so I won't misplace it. I have a wedding invitation, the list of dates for the Women Build, a few new recipes I want to try and a inspiritational poem.

Bob likes the refrigerator all shiny and black, so we rarely have much on it.

I have two pieces of art work that were hung last night so that Bob could see them when he got back home. One is a combined effort by Jacob and Jessica...abstract art drawn by Jake, colored by Jess. The other is a picture of a girl playing outside by Jess.

By the way, the only thing on the top of the frig is the griddle, which is also black.

I looked for Killer Bunnies at WalMart yesterday. Ug..WalMart. I will continue the search.

Jacob has all the official paperwork. He will be going to Global High next year and will take tests this summer so that he can begin taking concurrent college classes while in high school. I will now be able to say, with pride, "My son is dropping out of high school!"

After a quick trip to the kitchen, I have discovered that there is a friend's wedding save-the-date, a magnet that has Waxahachie ID's logo and phone number, and the fifty state magnet set that I bought at work.

I am more easily frustrated by ridiculous things than by big things. Which is even sillier than letting the little things get to me, I think.

My fridge has magnets, most of which are not decorative (they look like they might have been part of a computer at some time, I dunno). It's got a row of magnetic clippy bag closers that seem to be dwindling over time. And it's got a few recipes and a list of the general idea of what foods and how many of them we need to start off the week. For example, we eat a lot of smoothies, so we need to have at least two of the really big bags of frozen fruit each week.

Pictures of my dog, of Kate, and of course of Addison. Some expired coupons, and lots of nice magnets, which is what Matt and I collect on trips.

You are way overdue for a trip up to see us. We have Clue and Rock band 1 and 2. And you don't have kids, so there is really no excuse for you not inviting yourself up some weekend.

From memory, my stuff on the fridge includes:
· Shopping/recipe list (which is great when I need to know if I really did forget to buy something for a particular recipe).
· Magnet of a F-117A.
· Drawring of a Stegosaurus I made at the HMoNS made to look like a kid did it.
· Various towels for drying dishes.
