"I thought you looked different...."

Dear QotD?ers,
.
My main source of news would be NPR during commutes and CNN.com during breaks at work. Occasionally we'll have the local news on the TV as we get ready in the morning or when we get home in the afternoon. Or Justin will put on FOX News and listen to Pretty Boy talk while he starts dinner.
.
I kept very busy at work today. This was a good thing as I didn't have time to get sleepy or bored. (just like every other person with every other job, Kristen, sheesh). We ate lunch outside, again, because it was very pleasant. And once again, our vanpool arrived to work 25 minutes early and left 15 minutes late. Good thing the vanpools from the other town are much more reasonable. Or even just driving ourselves would save us a good hour every day. Just think of what I'll do with all that time after we move..... ~thinks~
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
What is one phrase you said today or conversation you were part of, that would have been very confusing if taken out of context? (or, you can make something up and tell us the background)
.
Love,
The Asker

"I am sooo happy that you had a terribly boring and uneventful mother's day."

A friend of mine lost her mother to cancer in December and I knew mother's day would be very difficult for her.

Kathleen,

The video you sent was hilarious! Thanks!

And one day, Kathleen, just for fun, you should at least swoon!!! Or maybe grab a student like you are about to fall on top of them...you know, that one student that is driving you nuts.

"Well, we closed that loop!"

I was tracking down some information for someone, and there appeared to be multiple sources, but they all actually pointed to the same document, so no action was needed to fix anything.

~thinking about life post-move~
Extra morning sleep: 45 minutes.
Less commuting: 40 minutes.
Extra evening: 30 minutes.
Not having to wake up early to sit for 2 hours in a van with stinky old men who get to work 20 minutes early and leave 20 minutes late: priceless.
