sleeping feet

Dear QotD?ers,

On the internet, I once saw a guy who made a paparazzi costume. Complete with lots of flashbulbs and faces behind fake cameras.
I am pretty sleepy right now. I hiope I get a good night's worth of sleep tonight. Last night I had a movie dream. It was set in the orient and the young woman had taken a vow of silence to protect her brothers. But she was also chosen to be the bride of the local prince, so there was akward silence and even an akward attempt at a pillow fight.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
Do you wear socks to sleep?

Love,
The Asker

Always. My feet freeze if I don't.

No, I usually do not.
I do wear socks if we are camping and it is really cold.

Not any more. I did all the time when I was young and beautiful, like Jacklyn.

Nope, no socks.
Go check out Aunt Barbara's post on Facebook. Fabia had Simeon an hour ago and Andrew has already posted a video. Thank God for a healthy baby.

That is an awesome dream.

I do wear socks - sometimes. There are nights that my feet just stay frozen bricks under the blankets and I need something to warm them - otherwise I have trouble falling asleep!

Jackie, Do you wear sleeping socks all the time or just in cold conditions?

Mom, camping cold feed are the worst cold feet there are.

Oh Anne, you are beautiful! You are the best looking boss I've ever had.

Sabrina, do you get any of those in Brasil?

Mom(inlaw), we can't check facebook at work! but I'll do it shortly after I get home.

TamiJean, Thank you. Now that I've ramped down on my medication, my shallower sleep is resulting in more dream memory. You frozen brick feet should be helped by cats and husbands - I don't care how much they screech, that's surely part of the vows they take.

Dear The Asker,
I do, it helps keep my cold-blooded body warmer. Usually i wear socks made from the tears of puppies and children, but on cold nights I wear socks made completely out of uranium!! So the next morning I wake up and find that I have grown 14 stories tall, have scales, and have the uncanny ability to shoot fire out of my eyes.
Sincerly,
Dr. Fandango, Dominator of the animal kingdom.

P.S. I also find that pillow fights in the orient tend to be quite difficult. Especially with dragons.

Yes, even in the summer. My roommates have tended to like the air on high during the summer, and my feet get cold in those conditions. But I break out the big, fluffy socks for the winter.

Sometimes, but only ankle socks, and I usually kick them off in the middle of the night.

Asker,

Nothing makes me realize how much youth and beauty I have lost more than being the 45 year old mother of a seven year old daughter. Youth and beauty belong to my past.

I am heading toward Aunt Irene beauty. Aunt Irene is Bob's great aunt who is now 98 years old. She is the loveliest person I know. I have to get old and wrinkled to get her beauty.

I also have said "when I was young, beautiful and very smart." The very smart part is just GONE!!! All the intelligence I had once evaporated with childbirth!!!! Now the only smart things I can say are "I will rip your arm out of its socket and beat you over the head with it if you cannot figure out how to be nice to your brother" or "If I have to ask you one more time, you will feel a force comparable to a nuclear bomb!!" And really?? Does that SOUND smart???

I don't even have a future goal for smart. So as far as everyone knows, I was just young and beautiful.

Asker,
I have worn socks in Brazil probably less than 10 times in the last 21 months. hehe. My favorites in cold conditions are woolen socks, which is what I'd wear to sleep back in the days when I lived in snowy conditions. Argyle socks are kinda nerdy but I like them, too. :)

Should have worn socks!

Dr. Fandango, being cold blooded, you must use a heat lamp to store heat initially and THEN put the socks on, right? Also, you should try chili powder in socks. It's pretty spicy.

Jackie, your roomates are crazy
