I don't know what is wrong, but I have been a magnet for microsoft problems these last two days. I fight it at work, with Excel unexplainably rebooting and not recovering my files that it just told me it would. Outlook was also spazzing on me. And at home it's internet explorer. All of this adds up to a frustrating day. I was grouchy for these and a number of other reasons today. If you were here, I'd demand a hug from you.

No color scheme for the bathroom, really, but we have navy blue towels. The bathrooms here are very different from the bathrooms in the States, there's no big counter or space for lots of stuff.
The bedroom is done in browns and the living room is in browns, greens, burgundy, and gold. I'm very into rich, autumnal colors.
But Annelise's room is done in all pastels, with butterflies and airplanes flying all over the walls.
I have decided I am a pretty boring person either that or I am very consistent. I use Red and White in my kitchen, living, and bedroom. We have a Texas bathrooom so it's red/white/blue. I just love red!
Decorating schemes. Hmm. I don't think I have ever had one. I tend to like warm colors, is that a scheme?
I am into earth colors, I guess....
with lots of brown(wood) and green and cream. Our living room is painted "Sahara Sand" and has browns, greens, and a touch of burgandy....but our bedroom is "Mediterrian Blue"with burgandy
and cream. Our kitchen has lots of brown(wood) and stone/ivy wallpaper.

Bathroom - blues and greens. Not my choice, but we rent.
Bedroom - rich reds, browns, and golds.
Living space - umm...computer colored? We don't really have "stuff" there - just the computers and a bizarre mishmash of art I've collected or done over the years.
We keep the color schemes very neutral and do the decorating with art, mostly. We are moving all the wall colors from a cream to more yellow-tinted cream. The kitchen has been painted yellow, but the rest of the house is more subdued than that. And we have never had wallpaper..it seems to date itself much more quickly than painted walls.
It is so much easier to change a towel color, or the curtains, buy new throw pillows or hang new pictures than it is to paint.
The furniture in the living room is also very neutral; the furniture is mostly brown, but the sofa is a green. We have big art in that room, so the furniture needs to be rather subdued.
In regards to your battle with Microsoft, I know what those days are like and it is not pretty! And I wish I could give you advise, but technology seems to be my sworn mortal enemy and everything I try to do makes things worse.
Each room in our house is painted one of the colors on the "Bagel" color strip from Sherwin Williams, using lighter and darker shades. Our bathroom and bedroom is "Bagel" with accents of dark red. My favorite living space is the TV room upstairs, 2 walls "Brick red" and 2 walls "Totally tan". I read somewhere, the bedrooms should be painted restful colors and the public rooms more vibrant colors.
Boring. White. Apartment.
P.S. But you're gonna make our new house AWESOME-colored, right???
P.S.S. I still totally think a tie-dye wall would be sweet!

No, tie dye walls are less fun looking than you'd think. Our old work building had one and it was mostly distracting, especially since my eyes kept finding places where things weren't QUITE right and fixating on them.
The new building is crazy colors, but all the walls are a flat color rather than a pattern. =]
I love the "bagel" idea - that sounds like a very soothing-yet-fun house!
When looking at homes to buy, we saw one that had all the walls painted SOME color - mostly various bagels (hee!) but also a few muted blues and greens. It was incredible. Very very nice.
Also, when I paint whatever house I get, I plan on naming the paint colors however I like.

I still dream of being the person who gets paid to name colors. Mostly of make-up, but I would love to decide the names for nail polishes or paints just as well. I would love to contribute to your naming of the colors in your home! Please! Please!
While I did not name the colors, I am pleased with the color scheme in our home. We have Joyous, Butter Cream, Linen White, Calming Desert and Bicycle Yellow. Love Joyous...that is the kitchen.
Aggressive Muffin is the best, though!! How fun!
My bedroom is blue with a faux-finish paint technique of a beige brushing.
My bathroom I think is beige, but I don't really know because we didn't do it, and i don't care much.
My living room which opens into my kitchen is an orange color on one side, which transitions into a burgundy, and the side of the kitchen that isn't the burgundy is a robins egg type blue. They don't sound good together, but I think they look great. I picked the color combo, but didn't put them together (I have no color sense) it was a pre-fab combo.

Bedroom: Orange, green and white. Lots of spring-y things, tulips, pictures, ect.
Bathroom: White and boring.
Living room: Lynsey created the "modern geometric" theme and used warm hues of red, orange and gold. I don't know, I'd say I'm more country than modern in my decorating, but I like it.

Also, the "aggressive muffin" is a misquote from a British comedy called The Mighty Boosh.

You know, I still can't find the Killer Bunnies except for on-line. Credit cards are for emergency use only, dagnabit!! So it is with reservations that I will now try to discover "the Might Boosh."
Maybe the Asker will give us all a test run and let us name the colors for her new home!!

We got our Killer Bunnies from a comic book store in Houston. =]
Also, Mighty Boosh is..umm...not for everyone. I could be wrong, but I don't believe it would be something you would enjoy on a regular basis, just based on how you answer questions here. =] I think it's coming to Comedy Central or something, but I'm not positive.
