Warning: do not explode your jammies.

Dear QotD?ers,
.
I'd say I enjoy sitcoms more - at least good ones.
.
Today I realized that I really should get a Black Eyed Peas album (they are a musical group!) They have many songs that have great energy and I enjoy listening to them. Caution, I have not pre-screened those videos to see if they are NSFW (not suitable for work).
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
Are there any forms or areas of technology that you are hesistant of adapting or refuse to adapt?
.
Love,
The Asker
.
P.S. I'm sure there are many B.E.P. songs that I am miss-hearing the lyrics, but I really don't mind. That last one? there's a part where I sing "We're the blast masters blasting up pajamas!" That just sounds like crazy fun!

We'd like to get a slingbox/slingcatcher so we can watch American TV, but I'm hesitant because we'd probably watch waaaaay too much TV again and it's kinda nice to not be so tied to the tube.

We also don't have any gaming systems for the same reason. We have two powerful computers that can handle whatever games John wants to play, but if we get a Wii, then we'll feel the need to get a WiiFit that we'll never use and a WiiThis and a WiiThat and then when WiiII comes out, we'll feel the need to buy that as well. So we avoid gaming systems, but John buys stuff to play on the computer. He has a yoke, pedals, and flying-joystick-thing so he can play his flying games, as well as an RC-controller so he can fly RC planes on the computer. We had to get rid of his RC planes when we left Clovis because they wouldn't ship well to Japan and would probably end up broken if we put them in storage in the States, so he flies RC planes on the computer instead.

Well, I ALWAYS refuse to adapt! I complain bitterly throughout the whole adaptation phase. Adaptation takes time, and that is the one commodity that I cannot spare, so I get very bitter.

The Asker will recognize this attitude in the following form:

"I hate new software upgrades."

"What? New security passes for the online banking? I hate on-line banking!"

"You sent me a voice text message? I hate voice text messaging!!"

There is a Puddle of Mudd song that they boys like even more now that we have heard Jessica sing part of it. Her lyrics are:

Maybe I'm the one
Maybe I'm the one
Who is a
France is a psycho

I don't know that I have anything that I'm a total refusal on, but I've got lots of things that I've ruled out and things that I'm waiting to get better.

I don't have cable tv, and don't miss it.

I don't have a wii, but I've seen some reviews for a new video game system that I might actually get (I can't remember what it was called - no controllers, full-body system, and internet compatibility so you can play with your friends).

I don't have an eBook reader, because the price of the reader is steep, and the price for the books even more ridiculous. That one I WILL be getting as soon as the cost of the books drops into reasonable territory.

Nick got up this morning, went for a jog, and then came in and informed me that the Black Eyed Peas have a new album out. Coincidence??
