Something's coming!

Dear QotD?ers,
.
Thank you all for being so very excited for us! Hopefully we'll close Monday morning or Tuesday sometime. Until then, I'll keep thinking about decorations and nursing the mild sunburn I have. We went to the pool this morning. My shoulders are a bright pink. I guess the good side is that I'm not ENTIRELY ghostly pale.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
There is something very exciting happening at the end of this week. What is it?
.
Love,
The Asker

I'm going to a Japanese baseball game on Saturday, but I don't think that's what you're talking about...

I'm going on vacation to Mt. Magazine State Park. www.mountmagazinestatepark.com, check it out! We're taking the camper and staying the whole week. We'll spend the 4th with Stacia and Bryce and then on to "chillaxation"!!!! Oh a little 4-wheeling as well in the mountains! HOORAY!!!

This weekend will be fireworks and celebration! Like there's some kind of anniversary or something. =P

Well, as my birthday, 55, is this week, I shall try to stretch it into many days! Celebrations, yes! Justin and Kristen finally get their dream home, dad gets a much deserved day off, and we celebrate living in the best nation in the world!
Sabrina, how do they celebrate their independence?

Ack! Kristen, take it from a forty year old....ghostly white skin is beautiful and never should be altered! To do so will cause you to look in the mirror in 15 years and say..."What have I done??"

Independence Day in Venezuela is July 5th, assuming that Hugo still recognizes that history and celebration. Finding it odd that so many Western countries celebrate Independence at the same time.

@ TamiJean,

The Mighty Boosh is great fun. Well done!!

Jeannie, I am going to take photos of the celebrations on Thursday. Not sure yet what they do here. I will report soon.
