There is no doubt, I would prefer the naptime. Though idealy, i would want a magically short commute.
.
So, I did something to my shoulder. Probably from all the working out and weight lifting I do ~flexes, but left side only~ It's sort of rediculous because it doesn't hurt REAL bad, and it doesn't hurt all the time, It's just when I lift up there's a sharp twang and i have to groan or whimper. Though tomorrow I'm going to try out 'Yar!' and see how pirate-like I can sound.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
Do you use highlighters?

Yes. A bit too liberally though. Sometimes I go back to study all that I highlighted and it's about half the text.
But I like to highlight and use different colors for different things in my notes. I find that very helpful.
Yes, I do. I have various colors
and color code when I can.
Used to be books/text when in college and now it is notes/e-mails/memo pertaining to school.
I do highlight/color code my "To Do" list and some information on my activity calendar.
I do, but not liberally. I couldn't use them when studying in books for the same reason Jacklyn said - I end up highlighting every other sentence.
I use it sometimes when I'm making notes on a long paper at work and I want to have "categories" of notes. For example, I printed out some code, and highlighted with blue the changes for Phase 1 of the project and in yellow for Phase 2.
I have never used physical highlighters very much. I do, however, use the highlighting function in Word.
I am more of an underliner when it comes to books.
I never highlighted a textbook! And I refused to buy used books that had been highlighted. I also had very stern words to use about the previous owners of such books. I would gladly buy books that had comments written in the margins! I love that!!
I do highlight and use smiley faces regularly now. Highlighting is to quickly identify the order number or such. Smiley faces mean that I have reviewed the documents and concur.
I also use the highlighting tool on my spreadsheets. The Philippines spreadsheet gets lots of highlighting.
@ TamiJean,
I got my information on The Mighty Boosh. I asked the looming teenager. He set the DVR to record the next episode for me. He laughed because it comes on a cartoon channel in the middle of the night, like 1am. He wanted to know how I even knew about something that happened in the middle of the night. He watched his first episode on a friend's iPod.
Not in textbooks (I would put sticky notes in where I wanted to write something)
but I definetly use them. I like to have LOTS of different colors.
@Anne
I take no responsibility for the Boosh! Unless you like it. Then it was totally all me. ;)
@ TamiJean,
The looming teenager would not have recorded it if he thought it inappropriate, offensive or not to my liking.
And not to worry, I will give you total credit. It will sound like this:
"I see. I have to hear about fun and interesting things from people who live is WISCONSIN that I have never even met! I just get to wash everyone's dirty underwear while you people enjoy life!"
I am hoping the response will be:
"Oh, and here are some dirty socks that I have been fermenting under the seat cushions before I let you wash them."
@Anne
You know, it's really hard to find well-fermented socks these days.
It's an obvious sign of love.
*winks*
@ TamiJean,
Yes, well, you are obviously not the mother of a teenager. Well fermented socks and a bad attitude are easy to find.
The sign of love is acknowledgement in public.
@ Asker,
What's this then? No Monday morning post!??? Aye, basura!!
