It's like pretending, but with a very specific focus?

Dear QotD?ers,
.
Today, as we were making the exit for our vanpool, everyone got real excited. Justin even pointed at what the excitement it was. So I looked up from my book. It was a car. Granted, it was a small car, just bigger than a pope-mobile, but it was so amazing that 10 of the male passengers need to look at it and comment on it to each other.
.
I've had yellow/summer squash, sphaghetti squash (and if you haven't tried it, you need to. it's CRAZY), butternut and acorn.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
Do you have any good impersonations*? what are they?
.
Love,
The Asker
.
*mythology and literature sources accepted, question care of Justin.

I am not so good with impersonations. Bob has never done any famous people, but when he retells stories, he always uses the voice and mannerisms of the people in his day. He does a perfect rendetion of Paul Jones! His daily recounts were always the best when he ran the work facility for mentally disabled adults.

I had a strange dream last night about helping you and Justin pack...or maybe I was unpacking?....and you guys had an adorable cat that talked to me. She was a very silly cat and you had a ton of bed linens! What was all that about!!???

Nope, can't do any impersonations....but I have always
been in amazement of people who can. Terry Fator, the ventriloquist(sp?) is amazing with
his impersonations of singers!!!

I can do accents, but not impersonations. And sadly, I can rarely do accents on queue - I need a tip-off word or thought to get me started. Sometimes I can remember the tip-off word and do it on purpose.

"Arleen" is my southern-belle tip-off word.

In HS, my buddy David and I did a Mick & Nigel (Australian/British) routine throughout the ~entire~ Disneyworld band trip. Best part: telling the ET ride guy my name was Nigel, so later ET was like "Larry... David... Niiiiiiiiigel..." I ROFLed

I can also do a pretty good Sean Connery.

P.S. That car was one of those Smart Cars (aka: highway-death-in-a-box)

Daryl is awesome at accents and impersonations! He can do anything from southerner to sorority girl to wacky Brazilian professor to Kermit The Frog.

I am good at impersonating those creepy Yep, Yep aliens on Sesame Street. Mostly because I only have to remember two words, Yep and Uh-Huh.

Heh. Sabrina, I know exactly what you're talking about! And, heh, Justin, I want to hear sometime!

Sadly, I myself am no good at impersonations. My little cousin does an awesome Daffy Duck, it always impresses me.

Groovy Sabrina!

Gasp! Arg! GASP!!

CREEPY Yip Yip Aliens! Creepy!!??

The Yip Yips were the best! I loved the way they could extend their lower mandible and move it from side to side when they danced! And THAT impersonation I cannot do! Drats!

I'm pretty dang good at impersonating Sabrina's dad.

I like the Yep-Yep aliens, but I can see how they might be creepy to a young, timid Sabrina.

I agree. They're super creepy.
