Do not answer HannaH Montana.

Dear QotD?ers,
.
Another episode of LOST, another episode where I have way more questions than they answered. What's new?
I ate a salad today where the grapes were almost as large as the grape tomatoes. That's a pretty big grape! I also had a strawberry that was almost as big as my fist, but despite it's beautiful red color, it wasn't super delicious. I can't wait until summer when all the fruit will taste amazing.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
What is your favorite band/group named after a location?
.
Love,
The Asker

Okay...I'll participate some more.

Nick says that he will personally hunt down anyone who says Chicago! He offers up The Presidents of the United States of America and the song Cleveland Rocks. There is a reference to a place in the name, but I am not sure it qualifies. I like hi nomination just the same.

JAcob got the right answer and said Ohio Players.

I had a hard time thinking of any, so I asked Google for help. These are some that I found. I know and like at least one of the songs by each band.

Boston
Kansas
Dixie Chicks
Oasis
Beach Boys
E Street Band
Styx
(Chicago...as long as Nick doesn't hunt me down)

Ah! I didn't pick a favorite. That would be E Street Band.

Nick is only 11 years old, and while he does have a passport, I really don't see him being a threat. He has not even read the Handbook for Ninjas yet!!

Okay, but one of the bands that I did think of was Bay City Rollers! I am sure they were a one-hit wonder, but if you can name the song, I will be even more humored than I was with just the realization that I could name them. And if I am correct, I think they preformed on roller skates. Maybe I will google that!

Ha!
I so wanted to answer this without
looking at previous answers and I did.
Then I read about Nick wanting to
personally 'hunt down anyone who says Chicago'! I say.........
bring him on! I think I can take him! :)
