pink ribbon

Dear QotD?ers,
.
Last night I finished watching the first episode of Dancing with the Stars. It was shocking! I don't know that DwtS has ever needed to cut out sound due to celebrity contestant language! And yes, I know someone who knows the cousin of that young dude from HannaH Montana.
.
In other news, we watched Heroes, my reaction : Huh? could it be more confusing?
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
Do you like banana bread?
.
Love,
The Asker

yes. Yes I do. I made some this weekend with two very ripe bananas and one ripe banana. I used lots of pecans. It's moist, dense and DELICIOUS.

Banana bread is quite yummy. I especially like it for breakfast fresh and warm from the oven.

Another of my favorite breakfast breads is cornbread mixed with fresh berries and drizzled with a lemon sugar while still warm. It is sweet, fruit and very delicious. And it is much prettier than banana bread.

I want the recipe! I've never had one with pecans, and I'm totally sold. I adore banana bread.

Enfuego it, lady!!

(I shared your cranberry salad recipe with a lady at work. She loved it!)

Boy, do I ever love banana bread.

I also would like the recipe! Hopefully it does not require any electronic appliances. No pecans here, though we have lots of bananas!

Every time I've ever eaten banana bread I've bitten into a clump of banking soda, so it has been tainted in my mind. Otherwise, I think I would very much like banana bread.

Kathleen,

That is pretty much the recipe! Had fresh berries (I have never tried frozen) to cornbread batter. (I use the prepackaged cornbread mixes) and bake as directed. Whisk together lemon juice and powdered sugar for the glaze and pour this over the cornbread while it is still warm. The berries sink to the bottom of the cake while cooking, so if you turn the cake over and then pour the glaze it is very pretty and yummy. But an anxious baker did not wait to turn the cake out once before glazing, and it is still yummy and delicious.

It also makes a great dessert. And there are no baking soda clumps!!
