It'd get hot.

Dear QotD?ers,

Sorry about the absence yesterday. I wasn't feeling good so I went to bed early. Wow you get a lot of sleep when that happens! But man, I didn't have time for anything else.

If I was subject to a request by a British man at an intersection, I'd probably giggle and not be able to answer.

Today's Question of the Day? is:
Could you live without air conditioning?

Love,
The Asker

I suppose I COULD, but it wouldn't be a very happy existance!

We can and we did during the 8 days after IKE, however, it was not very easy living and productivity and niceness was at an all time low!

I had never experienced central air until we moved to Texas. (If I think it through, I bet my grandparents had central air in Miami, but we only "lived" there for a few months on our way back into the states.) I know that in Caracas we had no AC, and in Chicago only a window unit in my parents' bedroom.

But those were all before Bob years. That man cannot live HAPPILY without AC. And I have no desire to be around super-grumpy Bob. I will not live without AC. Not even gonna try.

I worked at a Girl Scout camp near Austin for a summer. No A/C there. It was actually kind of crazy- it got to where I couldn't use the A/C in my car, and that it bothered me in buildings if it was blowing. Now, I definetly appreciated a cool building like a grocery store, but if I could feel the air on me, I couldn't tolerate it.

So yeah, I think I could live without a/c, but it would have to be mostly outdoor time. Being stuck inside a building without it would not be fun.

Dear The Asker,
I really dont think I could as an evil villian I need to make sure I have no split ends and that my hair is as silky and smooth as possible.

Sincerely,

A second on the irritating cold blasts of AC. Sometimes more uncomfortable than the heat.

I've lived w/o AC for more than 2 years! Some days are rough.

Mom, you have good plans ahead of you then.

TamiJean, agreed

2nd Mom, that still sounds like a terrible week

Anne, Ha, thank goodness for Bob.

Jessi, I agree with the direct blowing.

Dr Fandango, beauty tips are well received :D

Sabrina, I hope your new location is a little more temperate!
