double rainbow all the way across the sky

Dear QotD?ers,

Once, at a fancy wedding reception, the dinner included three types of mashed potatoes: sweet, regular and something else. It seemed so decadent, having three potatoes on one plate. I was incredibly tickled and enjoyed them all!

Today was ice cream day at work. I got a strawberry popsicle.

Today's Question of the Day? is:
What does a double rainbow mean to you?

Love,
The Asker

I am avoiding the internet craze, so my impression of a double rainbow remains untarnished.

It's when there are two rainbows, spooning in the sky. "Do you want to be the BIG spoon or the LITTLE spoon?"

I think it might mean extra good luck.
You don't see a full rainbow hardly ever, so if you see a double rainbow, that is awesome!

God is smiling!

First of all, a strawberry popsicle is NOT ice cream. That is just an ice thing...a frozen treat. I am pretty sure there needs to be cream in the mix for it to be ice cream. AND, July 18th is national ice cream day. Ronald Reagan, back in 1984 when many of you were toddlers, declared July Ice Cream Month and the big hoopla is on the third Sunday of the month. I am most disappointed with your company and their benefits.

A double rainbow probably means just another rainy day for us. We have seen no less than five double rainbows, two of them in full glory, from our front porch since we moved here.

double rainbow...hmm... to me it means something you learn about in the Optics section of Physics class. Something the professor projects onto a screen with a few lenses...
