Heaven: 4/5

Dear QotD?ers,

If you are reading this on Friday morning, you can go to this website and sign up for free chocolate. Or sign up to get a cupon for free chocolate, but isn't that just as good? Angela, it says it's redemable in 'US government installations' I don't know what that means for you.

I don't have a good answer for yesterday's question. Though I do agree with Justin that dinosaurs would be cool

Today's Question of the Day? is:
What questions (not covered in Heaven Orientation) would you like to ask God?

Love,
The Asker

As I watched my mother suffer in pain for several years before she died, I thought then about asking God, "why the suffering of such sweet innocent people?" I don't understand diseases such as Lou Gehrig's disease, Parkinson's and MS where the one affect suffers so.

I will be really honest. There is quite a bit I do not understand about God. And I think if I asked the really big questions about the things that seem to make little sense to me that I might be unhappy to hear some of the answers. So I am going to by-pass the big questions altogether and go for the more trivial stuff. I don't mean it in a cavalier way, just as a different way to get to understand God.

"Got any good recipes?"

'What are you listening to on your iPod?"

"Who is your favorite author?"

"Was it really THAT funny to hide Bob's belt all the time so that he could blame me?"

Asker, in regards to lima beans...

There is a children's book called "Stripes" about a girl who won't eat lima beans because everybody thinks that lima beans are gross. It is pretty cute and the moral of the story is that lima beans will make you a happy person!!! Author David Shannon.

I understand what Jeannie is saying about Mom, and yes, it's hard not to ask why good people suffer, but we know it is to be used to minister the gospel through suffering and her example to others was so evident, but very hard to watch her suffer. I would love to know why, when they asked to please go on, he didn't just say, OK, come on. As in the other day, I do wish to know what took him so long to decide to come get his church and rapture us away.

I don't have any specific questions for God. In my mind, once we are in heaven......all things will be made clear and we will have great understanding.

If anything, I would want permission for some way to be able to communicate to my family on earth and let them know I 'made it' and that I will be waiting for them (when their time comes)
( I don't mean this in a morbid way......just a peaceful, caring, loving way).........Maybe just a sign or a dream or something.....

Now that I have typed it, it sounds hokey! :(
