I'd think it a little shady

Dear QotD?ers,
.
I would eat reading. It would be delicious and I would love every bit of it. I also suspect that I would become fat.
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
Would you eat kangaroo sausage from a place called "Hot Doug's : The Sausage Superstore and Encased Meat Emporium "?
.
Love,
The Asker
P.S. back-up question: Would you eat anything from a place like that?

No, I would not kangaroo sausage....it does not sound .......delicious or nutritous..... The name does sound shady.........
Does this place really exist?..... Somewhere in the world? Surely it is fictitious......

Absolutely! I'm up for anything, especially gastronomic novelties. Kangaroo sounds exotic and delicious.

"Hot Doug's: The Sausage Superstore" is pretty creative, but "Encased Meat Emporium" isn't too appetizing. Hot Doug should work on that.

*laughs* I would, I totally would. And I'd look around for buffalo sausage, too.

I would not. I am a very leery meat eater, especially with dubious things such as sausages.

On the other hand, if it were already cooked, if it smelled delicious, and it was sitting delectably on my dinner plate, I might be tempted to take a bite.

I have trouble in meat stores. Nothing looks appetizing.

Sure I would, I bet it'd have quite a KICK!

I agree that Buffalo (aka: American Bison) sausage would be awesome to try. I've heard bear meat is also pretty good.

I am with Cunao on the Encased Meat Emporium. That part of the name may just keep me from walking in the door.

I know that Asker has asked me to refrain from becoming a slave to my heritage, but I am the great-granddaughter of a Polish meat market owner from Chicago. My grandfather died with ONE tooth left in his mouth, but still ate a salami on rye with mustard every single day for lunch. It is not possible for me to wuss out on a sausage!!

Not possible, Kristen!

And...I have always said that I am a most indiscriminate reader. I will read anything, whether it is good or even terribly interesting, and am fully aware that this makes me a book slut. I rather think that being a book fattie is not nearly as bad!!

I'm actually a pretty picky eater, but not when it comes to encased meat! Beef, pork, turkey and venison (elk, moose, deer, mystery game) sausage are all delicious ... I would certainly give it a try.

I also would have to agree with Cuñao regarding the creativity of the name.

Oh, and, The Asker, congratulations on making it to my Google Chrome most visited sites!
