Everythings goin' my way! (Ha!)

Dear QotD?ers,

The last person I hugged was Justin. I love hugs and wish you were all lived in my neighborhood. I'd come by just to say hi and for hugs.

It was warm and lovely outside, so we were able to have lunch outside.

Today's Question of the Day? is:
Have you ever dedicated a song to someone over the radio?

Love,
The Asker

Nope.

But I have always sung songs that I made up specially for each kid.

One of Jacob's songs included gefilte fish in the lyrics. He recently related to me that he thought gefilte fish was a normal word that all families used....and then he never heard anyone else ever use that term! So he was very happy when he recently heard someone use the term!

So maybe his family isn't so crazy after all!! I think that positive affirmation is better than hearing a song dedicated to you on the radio. But I sing songs about gefilte fish to toddlers, so what do I know?

Yes, I have.
To Martin, when we were dating.
It was to a San Antonio radio station, and he didn't hear it.
:(

Nope, though my cousin had a friend on the radio that wanted me to call in "with my Texas accent" once when I was younger.

I was too shy and didn't call.

Anne, that's uniquely sweet

Mom, aww.

TamiJean, did you used to have a strong Texas accent?

@Asker
Nope, I've never had a strong accent. When I drink, get angry, or talk to someone with a strong accent, mine gets more obvious.

@ TamiJean,

So I guess if you are drunk and in an angry argument with (see below), than you would sound like an East Texas born and bred cowgirl!! I want to see that moment in time, by the way, because it would be humorous!!

Rosie Perez
Jackie Mason
Blagojevich
Paula Dean

I hope you get in a pie fight with Paula, by the way!!
