Southtown Ford, South on 35, Alsbury exit, Fort Worth

Dear QotD?ers,
.
Today's post has nothing to do with purchasing a car and everything to do with catchy jingles of the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex in the 90's. "Call 267-8433/ Because the next best thing to new is Dalworth Clean!" FYI rest of Texas: Before he became the Texas Hammer, Jim Addler was simply known as the "tough, smart lawyer."
.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
What is your all time favorite chair?
.
Love,
The Asker

I have a lot of good memories with the Lazy-Boy, blue leather recliner. It used to be at my parents house, then it moved to Matthew's room when they got a new recliner, then it joined my hand-me-down furniture in college.

Even though the seat is all scratched up from Toottles and the foot rest part was pierced by a sword, it's extremely comfortable. It's the chair I remember having the most "rocky-rocky" time between small girl Kristen and Mom.

Oh, I forgot the last part of the jingle when a girl says "Open Sundays!"

First chair alto sax in symphonic band for all 4 years in high school was pretty cool. But my dream chair is this: http://www.mypce.com/

Back when I was young and beautiful, I bought a pair of Queen Anne chairs. A king and queen chair, as one is just a tab bigger than the other. I bought them because they were pretty, and I can actully sit in them and have my feet touch the ground. They are my size. Bob and I were just dating at the time and he gave me a stern lecture about impulsive purchases , which resulted in the first arguement we ever had. I WILL BE BURIED WITH THOSE CHAIRS!!! Not only can I sit in them comfortably, but they represent my INDEPENDENCE and the fact that I AM RIGHT!! AND BOB CANNOT SIT IN THEM BECAUSE HE IS A GIANT! HA HA HA!!

my favorite chair in the world is now dead. or at least, gone. my parents had this large, way over-sized chair that was almost the size of a love seat, but the furniture store sold it as a chair. ANYWHO, it was used and loved for many many years at my parents' house. it was stationary, but it had an ottoman (sp?) and big cushiony arms where i would take many a nap and spend my sick days during my school years. it finally ended its valiant service with a rip in the upholstery and sadly sagging pillows. can you tell i am very passionate about this chair?

my parents have since bought a new love seat/chair to take its place, but my heart is still searching for the perfect seat to fill the void. i have a nice leather chair that was given to me by my aunt charlotte that grows on me every time i sit in it... not literally grows on me... that would be weird.

Favorite chair.......
I would have to agree with Kristen about the grayish-blue LazyBoy recliner. Lots of good memories, including rocky-rocky time.

Alicia's favorite chair was actually a favorite chair of mine as well since we spent so much time together in high school. It was the inspiration for my latest favorite chair. When I was looking for furniture for my new house, having an oversized chair with an ottoman was a requirement. My favorite chair was a light colored khaki fabric with a matching ottoman. It was the best because you could just lay back in it and it would surround you. It was the best! Unfortunately, some fish and sharks are probably enjoying it now in the bottom of the Gulf of Mexico! But when it comes time to buying furniture again, I will definitely be looking for another one!
