Dear QotD?ers,
.
There are some more QotD?ers joining us. Ben is Benno, not duct tape pants Ben. Jeannie is Justin's mom. Stacia is Justin's cousin
.
Here is the most impressive of my secret agent skills: The ability to talk on my shoe phone without having to take off my shoe

.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
.
Are you good at keeping secrets? What's the best secret you've kept? What's the best secret you've spilled?
.
Love,
The Asker
.
P.S. toothyag, I thought I knew who you were, but your choice of pronouns confused me. help!

Wait a minute! I can't tell you secrets! I don't know who you are working for!!

It has been suspected for many years by many people that my father is a CIA operative. I cannot comment on that, but it might be wise if everyone proceeds with caution here.

The best secret I keep is where all the socks are. And nothing will make me divulge that secret!

They're actually one and the same. I kept a huge secret for about a year and a half and was only able to divulge it after I was released from my oath. I had a neighbor who, for lack of a better description, got knocked up by her married superior officer (she was in the Army). He was going to secretly send her child support until his wife found out. She wanted to claim the baby and take it away from my neighbor. My neighbor freaked and drove to Georgia, which apparently is one of the only states to do third trimester abortions. She got so far as to actually pay for the abortion, but couldn't go through with it, and came back home. She decided to fall off the grid by moving and leaving no forwarding address, getting a new cell phone and everything else she could think of. She also kept the paperwork from the clinic in Georgia so she could "prove" that she had aborted her baby, preventing the wife from taking it. She refused to tell me where she was going but that if she could she would get back in touch with me some day if possible. About a year and a half later she showed up at my door with the cutest little girl in a stroller. I found out that she had only moved a few blocks away, that the wife had backed down and everything was okay. She finished her degree at A&M and moved back home to El Paso to raise her daughter.

No. I am not. At all. Not even a little bit. I am extremely susceptible to tickle torture of any kind, or even merely the mention thereof.

It seems everytime I get a gift for The Asker I do something silly to give it away, like walking into the house with the shopping bag in plain view, or 'hiding' it on the floor of the computer room.

Yes, I am very good at keeping secrets...that is unless it is very juicy, and then I make no promises.

i am NOT good at keeping secrets! i think the biggest secret i've kept is when jenna told me what they were going to name kennedy before she was born (which is a big deal, because they don't and haven't told ANYONE the name of any child that they've had), and i really didn't tell anyone else. it was very difficult!

the biggest secret i've ever spilled was when kevin was going to propose to jenna and he wanted to talk to my parents, and my mom asked me what he was going to talk to them about.... and i didn't exactly SAY that he wanted to ask for her hand in marriage, but my elusive answer apparently gave away the secret. but it all worked out in the end, so i guess it wasn't too big of a deal.

btw, for those that don't know, jenna is my sister and kevin is my brother-in-law. their third baby is due in november, and i haven't quite managed to find out the name of new baby girl. hmmm....

Kristen, that is very impressive. I hope to achieve such feats of flexibility through yoga.

I don't like keeping secrets but I can if I must. When my friend Lilly eloped she said I couldn't tell. But what she really meant was that I couldn't tell our friends. So I immediately called my mom. That made it easier to keep the secret from everyone else!
