favorites: 1/5

Dear QotD?ers,

Did you miss me on my unnanounced week QotD? vacation?
Life got busy and the first things to get dropped are at-home internet time. I need to get a new schedule worked out, so QotD? might be coming at some random times in the evening.

My question was a week old, but we DID have a big event this weekend: Justins 10-yr high school reunion! I only knew one guy, a friend of Justin's that I had met before, but I got to meet a few of his other friends that came. Most of the attendees were people he didn't remember or even know when he was in H.S., but I'm glad we went. There were some delicious little egg rolls as part of the snacks being served. score!

Today's Question of the Day? is:
What is your favorite pair of socks?

Love,
The Asker

Well, I am anxious to see your answer on this one, asker! At the moment my favorite pair of socks are the thin, white ones that came with the peppermint foot lotion from the Body Shop. Put on the lotion, then the socks, walaa softer feet!

Not a fan of shoes and socks, but if I have to wear them, it must be cold out, so my favorite are the brown and pink wool socks.

Yes, asker, I missed Question of the Day! Glad you are back after your mini vacation.

I only wear socks when my feet are cold and that is in the wintery months. I have a pair of red socks
that are so soft and keep my feet warm. They are thick, so I just wear them at home as slippers.

@TamiJean,

What in tarnation is the point of socks with NO TOES???

I have never said, "Oh, the heels of my feet are so cold!!"

Speaking of cute, but maybe pointless clothing items:

Jacob's friend, Angry Jew Girl, has a T-shirt that she wears that says "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Jew Fish."

When I asked if I could get one, my family decided that this might be insensitive of me.

So I suggested I get a shirt that says, "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Pollack."

I asked Jacob if his friend, Short Polish Girl, would wear a shirt like that.

The retort was, "Yeah, she'd probably love it. Then the two of you could walk around together short and unnoticed."

I'll show him! You don't have to be tall to be noticed and funny! I am making myself that shirt!

Dear The Asker,
My most favoritest pair of socks would definitely be Leonard Nimoy and Zachary Quinto. They fit so well and never really stink.
Sincerely,

Anne, I like the color combination

Mom, Elmo socks! I have some!

TamiJean, they are fabulous. I have some, but they are not as long.

Sweetie Pie, do you two have matching socks?

Dr. Fandango, what about Dr. Spock?

@Anne

Those are the best socks ever. I can still wear flip flops with them and they keep my calves warm and my toes never feel squished in them.

Somehow, they still manage to keep my feet warm, too.

Besides. Did you miss it? PINK ARGYLE.

Also, I love sockdreams.com
