games or love

Dear QotD?ers,

This weekend we went to see some friends and had a great time playing many games of Killer Bunnies, even though I never won. pictionary also got pretty rediculous. REDICULOUSLY FUN! For those of you who remember Bob/Rashaun from college, we were visiting him and his wife, Angela. They now have QotD? bookmarked and may be participating soon (or already).

I love IHOP hot chocolate.

I was a latchkey kid! at ages 8&9 and then junior high. That sounds pretty young, so I must have been mature for my age, or Mom got hom shortly after the buss dropped me off.

Somebody has some super good news. I'm hoping they will be able to share it with all of us soon :D

Today's Question of the Day? is:
Which did you spend more time on this weekend, Olympics of Valentines?

Love,
The Asker

I'm going to go with Valentine's. After J&K left us with their wonderful copy of Killer Rabbits (which I also never won), my wife woke me up from my nap to give me a home cooked meal and I took her out to the movie of her choice. Which was "The Wolfman". Yay love!

Neither..or equal time.

The snow was beautiful, but now everything is a big, sloppy mess.

It was lots of fun while it was here, though. But I NEVER could have been a mother of three if we lived where snow is common. Thursday, Friday and Saturday were a blurr of wet clothes being stripped off and the dryer spinning like a demon to keep everyone out side in warm, dry clothes.

Well, there's always lots of love at our house, but we spent the weekend cleaning up after the 6" of snow we got on Friday. It was gorgeous and I got lots of photos but being without power stinks. So glad for the generator though. Mainly watched movies after the power came back on.

Yay BobGlueRashaun! *waves*

(I can't even remember why we added the 'Glue' in there)

I spent more time scrubbing the bathtub than I spent on either Valentines or the Olympics. But I suppose between the two of them, I read more twitter commentary on Olympics than on Valentine's, so that one counts.

I did ask Mr. Moore if he would like me to buy him a giant stuffed gorilla holding a heart in order to declare my love for him. He declined the offer.

Matthew and I watched the (recorded) opening ceremonies on Valentines day and a bit of live hockey.

That was AFTER he proposed Saturday! =D

I should have capitalized "proposed" rather than "after"! Ah well, exciting!

Kevin and I never celebrate Valentine's Day- so it was definetly an Olympic weekend.

We are also redecorating, and Sunday afternoon wanted to go out for dinner- then remembered we couldn't because of crowds, so if anything Valentines got in the way!

Truthfully,
Valentine's stuff.

and Jackie! :)

@ Jacklyn,

I have to assume that watching the opening ceremonies for the Olympics was a celebration of your acceptance of the proposal.

Congratulations!

Oh, so many people getting married!

You'd think the people would have had it with a silly love song!

Bobs, that's a wonderful evening! I'm glad we came to visit and tell Owen that I miss him.

Anne, brrrrrrrrrrrrr rrr

Aunt Barbara, BRRRR

TamiJean, what if it was a giant stuffed frog? would have that have proclaimed your love better?

Jackie, HOORAY!

Skittl, that is irritating, I hope you still had a good evening.

Mom, these opening ceremonies were not as good as the ones in China

@Jacklyn
Congratulations!!

@Asker
Would you believe it? They were utterly frogless. There I was, in dire need of an amphibian love messenger, and nada. Pffft.

@Anne
I look around me and I see it isn't so.

TamiJean & Anne,
What's wrong with that?
