Happy New Year! 2/9

Dear QotD?ers,

Today was not a good day. I didn't feel good and I got overwhelmed with being pregnant and the fact that I haven't done anything about childcare yet.

For New Year's Eve, Justin and I stayed at home and watched TV and played games. I ate egg rolls and pizza and then had heartburn. I hate heartburn. We watched the ball drop and then went to bed. Those crazy kids in the neighborhood set off fireworks and we stayed away from the windows.

Today's Quesiton of the Day? is:

Now that 2010 is over, How did you do on your resolutions or goals? (Here's a reminder of what they were)

Love,
The Asker

Well, I did very well on my resolution of doing nice things when I though of it. It did bring me joy (and I hope others too)! It was kinda fun to try to find new ways to help others. I did donate more time and money with purpose this year also.
Asker, I am sorry you are having tough days..."mama said there will be days like this...mama said." You are doing very important work that only you can do. There are many rewards that you will reap in the near future. We all support and love you.

I met half of my resolutions. Did that mean I failed 2010? :o (One of my resolutions is to keep up with QotD this year!)

-Join two classes at the REC and attend regularly.
Well, that was the beginning of the year... I did join two classes. Not so sure if my attendance could be defined as regular!

-Graduate!
Success!

-Take a big trip with friends. We keep saying we will and it keeps getting pushed back.
It did get pushed back once again last year... The good news? At least I know this year Matthew and I will be taking a few big trips!

-Not to stress the small things.
I was not engaged when I wrote this. Unfortunately, I spent way too much time last year stressing small, wedding details.

I am not an accomplished cellist, I still wake up way too early in the morning and I cannot say how many gray hairs I have added, as I now get regular colors.

I forgot to voice my biggest complaint about New Years Eve. When one of our set of friends came in, Dan gave me a hug and said, "Hey, BIG ANNE, how is it going?"

BIG ANNE??

Just for the record, it has NEVER been a goal of mine to have people refer to me as Big Anne.

Happy New Year to all Q of the Day fans!
My resolutions last year....
I am more organized, I have done more exercise/eaten healthier, and I have been more creative. Success!
I think I will keep the same resolutions as they still are worthy!

I was very ambitious in my goals last year. I stuck with some, created new ones throughout the year, and dropped others when they became unfeasible for me.

All in all, I am very pleased with how my 2010 went. I learned a lot and accomplished my important health-related goals. =]

FYI
With not having a computer at my fingertips most of the time,
I have gotten behind on reading and posting my comments for Q of the Day.

I hereby resolve to do better!

I did go back and read the questions and comments for the month of December! I commented on some as well. What joy!
I love Question of the Day!!!

Hope all of you had a wonderful Christmas! May 2011 be a happy, healthy one for us all!

Dear The Asker,
I did pretty well on my resolutions. You were fully under my control for about 10 minutes. In a position where I was a mad scientist and you were my unkowing slave who would succumb to my every whim at the click of of my evil button. Bwahahahahahaha!!

Sincerely,
Dr. Fandango, Player of Games

Wow, I did not do so great on my resolutions! I did not get through a single book in portuguese. Sigh.

I did, however, spend all the remainder of the year planning a wedding. success!

2nd Mom,
good job!

Amanda, yes, you failed on resolutions. But we still love you.

Jackie, I'd say a ride to Wyoming in a private jet was a big trip. Getting engaged changes priorities. From what I've seen, you've been a pretty good bride-to-be.

Anne, 'big' anne? who is that delusional? Dan needs to have his proportion assesment checked.

Mom, good job to you too!

TamiJean, You do a good job with your goals and reassesments. I'm always impressed.

Dr. Fandango, I believe it. There were some times when I felt especially evil.

Sabrina, AN AMAZING WEDDING AT THAT!
