Miss QotD? yesterday? We went to College Station last night for a Percussion Studio Show, staring MY BROTHER! And we didn't get home until midnight.
Today's Question of the Day? is:
What is your favorite thing to do on long car trips?
Love,
The Asker

BTW, the Percussion Studio performance was GREAT!
Ahh...the last long road trip we took was to Nashville. There is a great story about that trip, but that is not the story I will share.
We have a favortie truck stop where we eat breakfast. The waitress there got very distressed once when Jessica ordered coffee. She countered with a long list of juices that they offered, but we shook our heads and ordered coffee for her. When Nick ordered coffee as well, the poor waitress just shook her head.
So when she came back with the coffees for everyone except the oddball non-coffee drinker, Bob asked the waitress, "Hey, you know the kids would like some cigarettes with their coffee. Could you bring them a pack?"
So mark one for tormenting truckstop waitresses!
...sleep
Sleep. (*laughs* Just like eveyrone else, it seems!)
I wish I could read, but I get carsick easily.
If I can't sleep and can't read, I prefer to daydream. I write a lot of silly stories in my head while I'm staring off into space. =]
Knit.
Unless I'm driving. Then I get to control the music, but no knitting.
I'm guessing not too many QotD-ers are drivers on long trips?
And Kathleen's right - PS was awesome!
daydream, sleep and listen to music. haven't gone on a long car trip in a while! More long plane trips. I prefer the car ones.
Jackie, books on tape, that gets my vote
Mom, I was about to call you crazy with grading papers. I'm glad you were kidding.
Anne, favorite truckstop? that's an awesome way to break up a trip!
Mr. Moore, yes!
TamiJean, Justin was really concerned when he read that everyone likes to sleep: "Who drives?" You have awesome daydream powers. I don't know how long I could keep it up.
Skittl, knitting while driving sounds easier than cross-stitching while driving.
Sabrina, Hmm, you do take a lot of loooooong plane trips.
