It can't all be happy sunshine hearts and flowers.

Dear QotD?ers,

I just sneezed 6 times.  that's a lot of sneezing.

The best thing that has happened to me in the past year is Elizabeth, duh.  2nd best?  seeing a great deal of my parents and in-laws (mostly because of Elizabeth, but also because of summer, and retirement).

For my birthday, we went to cheesecake factory! mmmmmm

Today's Question of the Day? is:

What was the worst thing that happened to you in the past year?

Love,
The Asker

My garden died.

I honestly can't think of any one thing that was really bad. I think being lonely is probably it.

I, too, can't really think of a single thing that stands out and says "ME, I was the worst thing!"

Not that everything's sunshine and rainbows, but ... hmm.

I also have difficulty thinking within the restrictions of time. My brain will say, "Oh, here's a bad thing!" and when I ask it WHEN that happened, it's all, "I dunno. Before today sometime. I think it was cold."

Dear the Asker,

I think I had a brief moment of what you call, happiness. It was terrible.

Sincerely,
Dr. Fandango, stoic

I guess when my husband's older truck died and we are now a one car family, waiting for the new Ford-150 2012s to come out. He deserves to have the truck he really, really wants....ugh, just waiting.

The earthquake/tsunami. I'm proud of how I/we dealt with it, but it was a difficult time. There is still so much rebuilding to be done along the coast, it will take years and years to fix most of the physical damage.

Hmmm, such a touch one. The worst thing that happened to me was an incident with with a co-worker this summer. It was combined with a really rough couple of days which made it really stand out in my mind.
