decorate it

Dear QotD?ers,

I love rainbow= red + blue + yellow.  mmmmmmmmm

Today's Question of the Day? is:

If you could have any room in your home remodled (flooring, walls, fixtures, furniture, art, interior decorator...) for freeeeee, which room would you choose?

Love,
The Asker

Can I delay answering this question until I get my own house? :)

That is difficult because I'm renting a Japanese house right now. But when we finally buy a house, I'll probably need to renovate the kitchen because I'm tired of having no storage and sad counters. I love the sink in my current kitchen, which is good since I have no dishwasher. I hope to never again live in a house with no dishwasher.

Well, since most of the rooms in my house have been remodeled, I would have to say either the den or the outside deck!

Since I too like the way my house is now, I would say the outside patio. Put in an outside kitchen, flagstone on the patio, cover it and add ceiling fans...ooooohhh what would be so nice.

This would be such a waste at our house, because all the rooms are tiny.

I'd probably say the "great room" (kitchen/living room) because it is the area we are in most. But our "great room" combo is smaller than some people's master bedrooms...

Kevin tells me he will be redoing our bathroom shortly :) (And once again, our "master" bathroom is like half the size of many people's guest baths.)

I debate a lot about whether I want a bigger house. The only reason I want one is for nicer finishes, bigger kitchen, 2 car garage, and attached master bath with awesome shower. Except the two car garage thing, none of these things seem worth doubling our payment for when we don't REALLY need the space (we'd just fill it with more junk)

Assuming we are talking the house in DeSoto........
a new kitchen with new appliances, new counter tops, new cabinets
