movement

Dear QotD?ers,

When I was little, I would have said a tree house, because they are super neat!  now, I would say neither, because I'm sure they would be full of bugs and spiders.  That's kind of sad.  How am I supposed to be brave for Elizabeth when she wants to go outside and explore if I'm all ick!  a bug!   ?

Today's Question of the Day? is:

Would you rather travel by plane, train or automobile?

Love,
The Asker

Trains are just plain awesome. I've traveled by train from Texas to California. It's better than an airplane because there's much more room, you can recline your seat alll the way back or go to a different car where you can sit at a table and play cards and look out the windows. You have the ability to walk around during the trip AND even get out at different towns where the train stops. But if I were to do it again, I would definitely spring for a sleeper car. I think that would make the trip even better!

Well, Amanda sure makes a train sound fun. I have never been on a train trip...I would someday like to take the train trip that runs through Canada.

Well, Jeannie, if you do, you better make sure that I'm with you this time. I would love to experience that with you. I saw it in a magazine year ago and have always remembered how much it made me want to go!
My answer would be "all of the above". I would just like to travel more, no matter how!

Given my druthers, train all the way. Unless submarine is an option. I think that'd be fun.

Am I by myself? If that is the case, NOT an automobile, unless I am being chaufeured.

A train seems like the least exhausting of the three. I cannot envision trains cramped like planes, and to be able to walk away from the woman who wants to tell me all about the fight she and her boyfriend just had would be wonderful.

Trains! There is something very relaxing about train travel.
If time is NOT an issue, I would say car. Beautiful scenary, interesting homes, quaint towns. If time is an issue, then airplane travel. I don't really like flying that much, the thinking/planning that goes with packing if you are flying, the security checks, etc., but it is faster. Driving to Wyoming will take 2 days. Flying will inconvenience us for 1/2 day or so.

Ick. I'd rather travel by teleportation.

Amanda, oh wow, that must have been a fantastic train ride.

Jeannie & Auntie Barb, I'd go with you too

TamiJean, submarine? that would be too scary for me.

Anne, what, you don't like the draaama?

Oh wyoming, why does it have to be so far away...

Angel-A, does the military have that figured out yet?
