it's almost like winter, or something

Dear QotD?ers,

Look! I'm here again! as soon as I get done with this I'm going to blow-dry my hair, but until then I'm typing and looking at our Christmas tree. it has rainbow twinkle lights. At some point we'll put decorations on it, probably this weekend.

Today's Question of the Day? is:

How would you describe the coldness where you live, in 25 words or more?

Love,
The Asker

I wonder if I can arrange my scarf in such a way that it covers my neck, ears, forehead, cheeks and nose all at once?

(Ha! 25 on the nose)

HA! I laughed at this question before I read TamiJean's answer and thought "25 words OR MORE?? That is like giving Tami the key to the dam doors."

Way to ruin my fun, Tami! Sheesh.

Look, I have a zebra cotume to make, Christmas cards to design and create, a year's worth of records that need to be reviewed for accuracy and dinner to ponder. If it is cold, it is cold. I won't describe it further.

WOO HOO Two posts in one month!!! Horray for the incubator!!

@Anne

I knew that if I didn't make it a challenge to hit EXACTLY 25 words, we'd be in trouble.

While working in the cheese mines of Wisconsin, I have developed a beautiful language around the phrase "it's so cold, I can't feel [body part]"

wet and misty and since there are no heaters here, there is no place to be warm except bed. Winter was far more intense than I expected.
