Dear QotD?ers,
.
I think an arm cast would be more difficult. Putting on non-button up shirts would be difficult!
.
I still need to finish watching Dancing with the Stars tonight, so I'll keep this short. This also is helpful because there wasn't a whole lot going on today. Though I will be having a chocolate ice cream and strawberries treat in a few minutes. hoora!

I hope you can't answer this from experience

Dear QotD?ers,
.
This weekend was the 10-year anniversary celebration of Percussion Studio. Many former members all turned up to see the spring show. It was so great to see everyone and I love seeing a Percussion Studio show. There was a very unfortunate 'first' that night. The current Pres, while playing his trashcan-lid cymbals and jumping around with intense awesomeness, fell, at a horribly wrong angle, on a step. I think he broke leg/ankle bones in three places and now has a titanium rod and pin. That is one man who will go down in Percussion Studio history. Say some prayers for him, because he still has some finals left.
.
Now for some happier news. I finished a book this afternoon that had a happy ending. Also, I posted my April update to my livejournal.

I CAN'T STOP THINKING ABOUT THE SLAP CHOP!

Dear QotD?ers,
.
They are making us swap to Office 2007 at work (have been using Office 2003). I have been very hesitant to swap since I have lots of spreadsheets and models that I'm afraid won't work! So I have done nothing. And I haven't said anything about while I'm visiting the IT hallway. And every once in a while I'll ask Justin "They won't make me swap, will they?" with fear in my voice. In the meantime, my computer has come up for replacement. and it's arrived. and all the new computers will have Office 2007. At one point there were 4 people from the IT department in my office as we discussed a program that I'll need to have on my new computer, but don't take my old computer away until budget season is over. Ok, they'll store it in a safe place. But, why can't I store it in my cabinet and lock it up, please? The story ends with me being assured that Monday I'll have three computers in my office. My old desktop, my new desktop, and the laptop I use for one of my Monday tasks. I am going to feel awesome. And extremely important.

My phone is red and black! sporty!

ring ring ring ring ring ring ring BANANAPHONE

Dear QotD?ers,
.
Today we carpooled to lunch after a big meeting. The location of lunch was not communicated very well. Our car went to the Chinese Buffet and everyone else went to Carino's. Thank goodness they were across the street from each other.
.
I've never purchased anything from a tv advertisement, but I did by SHAMWOW! at the state fair. I got a ped-egg for Christmas. I've been extremely tempted to get a Split-Ender, but I can never find enough convincing product reviews to justify that revolutionary hair care appliance.

Stop having boring tuna. Stop having a boring life.

Dear QotD?ers,
.
Please refer to Justin's list. That stuff is on our fridge. Also, a picture of my cat, a picture of my oldest neice from 3 years ago, paper towel dispenser, my coloring of a dinosaur picture and 3 postcards from Cuñao.
.
Usually I don't foist random stuff on you guys, but my older sister-in-law found this "rap" and I had to listen to it 8 times in a row. I'm just giving you the youtube link. It's a remix of a 'slap chop' commercial by Vince, the Sham-WOW! guy. It makes me laugh and want to dance, and that's saying something for an infomercial.

Pizza coupons, loved ones, abstract art..

Dear QotD?ers,
.
Do you ever get frustrated by rediculous things? Like, I'm playing this game. And one objective is to let this orphan kid follow you around while you show it how to do tough things. Like capture the flag in your enemy's tower. So I did all of that, and didn't get credit! That's a pretty rediculous thing to get frustrated by, but I did.
.
I really enjoy playing Bananagrams, Apples to Apples and Hit or Miss (Jackie, this is the one with lists). I love Clue, but don't get to play it often. Balderdash is fun, but I don't think I've ever completed a full game. Also: pictionary, trivial persuit and spoons. We are going to have to try Settlers of Catan and Killer Bunnies. FYI: when The Beatles edition of Rock Band comes out on 9/9/9, I will love it most.

I like to play

Dear QotD?ers,
.
It's a new week! Will it be a great one for you? I hope so! I don't have a theme picked out for this week.
My weekend involved some travel, seeing family, eating food and playing two fabulous games, Bananagrams and Apples to Apples.
